Update: Weather Hold. The next possible launch time set for 7:30am, weather depending. Watch live in 20 minutes:

In a few years time I can see a lot more people doing this!

I'm gonna consider doing if it's not that expensive, it's going to be one hell of a training though

depending on the outcome, this could redefine atmospheric reentering from space trips in the future, where shuttle is not always required... if there is an outpost, where human can just individually come down.

And in other news, an unexpected meteor shower appeared during the scheduled re-entry of astronauts returning from orbit for the first time without a shuttle. All astronauts are currently missing.

So what happened, they are on hold for another hour? The timer went to zero, waited about 4 mins and restarted at 56 minutes?

Cold weather front is moving in, safety is very important.

I can wait another hour, my beer will be freezing by then

Just noticed they added another 30 minutes to the earliest launch time. I'm not going anywhere until this goes down.

Should anything be showing on that youtube link yet?

I'm getting a black screen and it also says about requiring _javascript to be enabled (which I already have?)

I think humanity is DDOS'ing the site out of pure interest

wich is a good thing, we need more of these events to show humanity how small and related we all are on our spaceship Earth

What are those moving dots on the right? At first I thought they were helicopters but they're moving at crazy angles!
