Loggers do much more damage to the woods than pipeline right-of-ways. They tear out the old growth hard woods (if there are any left) and plant weeds, aka fast growing pine trees, for lumber. If it all stayed in the US I wouldn't care so much. But it doesn't.

I work for a pipeline company. We recently laid a line from around San Antonio to Corpus Christi. We did not one time exercise imminent domain. We have some very odd route changes in the pipeline but the company did not exercise imminent domain. It's a choice.

Sounds like a job for somebody to do some research on the execs and some major stockholder's to find where their real estate is, so if anything goes wrong with this pipeline... Not saying anything else, but actions like this deserve some accountability in the long run.

Ah well, at least she still had a few benefits of some legal rights. If she was a foreigner and it was foreign territory she was laying claim to, they just would have had somebody declare her as hostile insurgent and go in and drop bombs on her.

Of course it is not just evil corporations using ED, government and greenies use it to take Lang for parks and mad free zones and to stop development if
Propety that may be the habitat of a rate bug. The left plays this game too. The only fair way is do away with
The eminent domain alltogether, corporations
May be mad they can't build on lands they don't own and lefties will be mad that they can't stop corporation building on lands they do own. Win win

Maybe you would like to review "Agenda 21 " a United Nations document for our future where private property rights are abolished among other freedoms you now have . Under Socialism as this plan indicates all of your rights would be for the better good of the Masses or the Elite . Which one do you think ?

There was only one Politician who stressed the importance of Property Rights....

but so many people wrote him off as crazy and said he can't win. Seems that the good Doctor was right again.

Do I even need to say who this Politician was?

The pipeline is the least destructive aspect of this energy venture. You should see the area that's producing the oil this pipeline is going to carry. It's devastated. Pristine wetland wilderness, destroyed. Streams and rivers, poisoned. There is a video showing the mines, I think I first saw it here.

It shouldn't be too bad as long as it don't leak One guy here nailed it. We need this energy to keep this operation, we call the economy, going.

Amen to the OP.
Shame that many still feel the need to protect and apologise for their jailors

This is what the corporates want to avoid:

mw2.google.com...

When the M62 motorway was constructed in the North of England, this farmer refused to sell and refused to move, so they built the motorway around his farm. Makes me chuckle every time I drive past it.

I wonder if this lady had access to Freeman info on contracting etc. I suspect that her NOT signing and NOT responding to lawyers communications is what gave them the opportunity to steal from her. The trick is always to respond in agreement, PROVIDING they supply the correct LAWFUL documents, which they never can because the law society and it's statutes are one big scam from the get-go.
