I'm not sure if you're trolling me, or you just don't know about the situation? Things like the National Press Club event, and countries recently releasing their UFO files, this is soft disclosure. And it's the best we'll get, unless the entities plan on revealing themselves.

one wonders what entrails they've been examining so as to be so certain that:

ahhh my friend, i lack the necessary presumption [or divine or clairvoyant Vision] of the regular prognosticators and the necessary pusillanimousness of the "prophets" of "nothing will happen". just pointing out the hypocrisy AND the ever increasing post rate [and desperation] of the latter.

Actually it's chiseled in one place. Tortuguero Monument 6. Of course even that fact is now disputed by the people who originally translated it. Although if you want to take my challenge feel free. The challenge is to find even a single ancient civilization that has a prophecy regarding December 21, 2012. i'm looking for a direct reference. Not what some New Age author claims ancients said. I should let you know that so far not a single person has completed this challenge.

I have to agree with you.

Chiseled in stone,”what we say, when we mean something is set and settled" meaning that date has been on peoples minds for years,

Such as...? WHO are these people that feel this way? The correlation between the Mayan calendar's supposed 2012 switch/transition and UFO's is hardly established, entirely conjecture, and infinitesimally documented.

I rather think this is a silly, ill-conceived, rather childish attempt to post a thread of two unrelated events in the hopes of generating a little feedback and maybe a few points. Weak. Wish I could "un-star" and "un-flag" it.

Personally, the only thing that I believe will happen on Dec 21st, 2012 is the passing of another Winter Solstice (summer in the southern hemisphere), just as it has for eons. No big quakes, no big eruptions, no big fire in the sky, and certainly no disclosure. After this date, what will happen?? Surprise! Dawn, of December 22, 2012; at which point it will be; Everyone get back to work (or enjoy a Holiday libation or two -and THEN get back to work!

I, for one, will be relived when 2013 is solidly here.

Mabey the end of the Mayan Calendar is 2013 afer all 2 + 0 + 1 + 3 = 6 and 2 x 1 x 3 = 6 and 13 is 6 + 6 + 1....so so its = 13.

I have a prediction for Dec 21st. I will be nursing a hangover from celebrating my birthday the day before!!!!! But friendly ailens would be welcome indeed and frankly we as a Human Race need to grow up! We NEEED this change to get us to do so!
