I was looking through the internet and came up with this little article I found. It said that Iraq's WMD's are not in Iraq, but are in Lebanon's Bekaa Valley.

U.S. intelligence has finally identified the probable location of Iraqi weapons of mass destruction.

That's the good news. The bad news is that the Iraqi WMD are not in Iraq.

Here is the story

Lebanon's Bekaa Valley
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

U.S. intelligence has detected tractor-trailers filled what appear to be WMD and missile systems moving from Iraq through Syria and into Lebanon.

Quietly, U.S. officials have made inquiries in both Beirut and Damascus.

So far, those inquiries have predictably encountered a stone wall. But some in Washington are pressing for a military operation in the Bekaa.

The movement of the trucks began in January 2003. At the time, their importance largely escaped the CIA.

The flow of Iraqi trucks from Syria continued through March, just two weeks before the U.S.-led war. Over the last few weeks, following a dead-end in leads of WMD sites inside Iraq and near the Syrian border, the CIA has taken a second look.

The problem is that the trucks and the equipment have been brought to underground sites in Lebanon's Bekaa Valley. The area is heavily fortified with Iraqis, Iranians, Syrians and Hizbullah operatives. The obvious question is how to get inside.

U.S. intelligence suspects that the area includes extended-range Scud-based missiles and parts for chemical and biological warheads.

The CIA is certain that Saddam Hussein and Syrian President Bashar Assad had a deal to hide the weapons. Bashar was believed to have received tens of millions of dollars from Iraq. According to Israeli intelligence, Saddam paid Syrian leader Bashar Assad $35 million to hide the weapons.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

I was always suspicious before that Iraq did move any WMDs they had to another country in order to protect their integrite (any that they had). Have any of you heard anything relating to this before, since I'm not 100% sure about the integrity of this site. Here is the link to where it is, and just scroll down until you find the title, which is stated in the article above.

The gazes were used to kill some Kurd and Chiites, so no more gaz... but no one has ever found the Anthrax Reagan sold him in 1986.
Reagan signed the accord to sell Saddam MDW and many army items in 1986. And now, no one know were those weapons are!!!
We know that he didn't used them in Koweit, that's all.
Good job CIA that control nothing, and G. Bush lobby that produced the weapons.
And did he bought other weapons to any one else, and what other weapons, they look for so long, did the lobby (G. Bush) sold him?

Being a good for nothing is a perfect weapon to sell a war to America and control the world! (sorry for your money (in fact America doesn'y pay much of it's pocket in that war, oil price does it, so the world, don't believe you get poorer because of the war cost!) and soldiers, but many other strangers also die and pay for that war, at least with the price of oil that pay the war, when it is not freedom and health or job... thinking to many journalist and biographs, politics of any country, humanitarians, but also fishermen and else of France and elsewhere that can't continue with such a price of oil...)

Chief,

The idea that Saddam had moved a number of WMDs to Syria just prior to the war is not new. Even the new Duelfer report indicated that it may very well be possible. So while I can't say if the site you linked to is reliable or not, there may very well be something to that particular claim.

Helpful hint: You can use the "Search" tab in the middle of the ATS header to search for other threads containing information such as this.

One rather large thread dealing with Duelfer's report and the idea of Iraq's WMDs being in Syria is here:www.abovetopsecret.com...

Hope that helps,

-Cypher
