This is Kent Hovind, in a fairly long yet entertaining preaching lecture and synopsis, in video, of just how stupid evolution is. As most of you know I agree. I hope you will watch this and comment only after you watch the whole video. This should at least unnerve even the most prolific evolutionist. If you want to comment on this vid please don't be ignorant and insulting. Just be intelligent, precise and entertaining, following the example lay down by Kent. No reason to be mean here this is all science. Or is it religion ?

Judging from the 19,007 dislikes, I'd hazard a guess at saying the VIDEO is stoopid
Sorry Rand, I will wtch it when I get off this train though, and see what it offers.

Sorry Randy, I had to post the other side of the coin.

No disrespect intended, only a fair counter offer.

You have a point however, if the video does have some up-standing points within it, that's 19,007 indoctrinated hate buttons pressed aha.

Even though I'm not a creationist, I'll watch. I'm sure Ill disagree with his own theory, but I'll watch. The only thing I know is that nobody really knows for sure about the process of the origins of the universe and life. There are so many things humans don't understand about the universe that any theory is nothing more than speculation. It's nice to think you know though, isn't it? So steadfast and certain.

More than welcomed and appreciated. I do apologize that for the insulting title as it is what it is.

C'mon now. 2 hours? Let's be realistic here.

It may be a good idea for you to transcribe some of the more important parts, and/or state specific times in the video that might be somewhat interesting, and worth watching.

Highlights......

If you watch with an open mind you will at least enjoy the humor he involves. Some of it is pretty hilarious yet holds true to intelligent breakdown.

Randy, you do know that Hovind, and his son Eric, have been debunked to death time and time again right? They're the lowest common denominators as far as creationism is concerned, at this point Ray "Banana Man" Comfort has more credibility than the Hovinds do. I could do an in-depth debunking, and maybe I will at some point, but for now suffice it to say that I thought you knew better than this Randy

The good thing is it is entertaining at the same time he presents his case but I'm not demanding you watch. But you really should to comment. Watch it in parts, comment as it moves along.

The following is my opinion as a member participating in this discussion.

Kent also thinks paying taxes is stupid. Of course, he's currently thinking it from the Florence Federal Corrections facility in Colorado doing 10 years for tax evasion.

As an ATS Staff Member, I will not moderate in threads such as this where I have participated as a member.

I am not a creationist but he makes some very valid points when poking fun at the big bang theory. He also has a sense of humor that many proponents of evolution clearly lack.

Good find randy. S+F.

Paying taxes to this gov.? I can only agree with that also. I found this like two hours ago and don't know that much concerning Kent but I liked the humor he involves and the points I deemed very solid.

What does the Big Bang Theory have to do with evolution? This is a perfect example of why Hovind's arguments fail. He doesn't actually know what the modern evolutionary synthesis entails. He has this version of evolution in his head that bears no resemblance to reality and he tries to debunk that.

The problem in many people's minds is that a creationist is poking fun at evolution and the big bang.

Consequently, no matter how valid his points may be, many people reject them out of hand because of his religious bias.

Technically only 12 of the 58 charges Hovind was convicted of were tax offenses. It should be pointed out that Hovind's arguments are so flawed that even organizations like Answers in Genesis criticize them.

I think the way he comes across really does put your point up of for debate at least. And that is a very small part of what he's saying that you are confronting.
