Ahmadinejad’s Cameraman Defects, Seeks Asylum in US

For those of you thinking Ahmaddinejad is not "that bad, actually rather charming", perhaps this article will shed new light.

I believe the situation is more dire than American's realize and certainly worse than our inept media portrays. What could be so horrible to force one to leave their country, home and job. Perhaps the rogue Iranian Pres. Is not as friendly as many of you think!

Nowhere does it say Ahmadinejad was responsible for his seeking asylum.

It wasn’t immediately clear when the Iranian defected or his current whereabouts.

Also, it's an Israeli source.

Took tremendous courage to make this move. I just wonder what he knows. Is there
an event in the near future about to wreak havoc in the Middle East? Not talking about Israel
attacking Iran. Perhaps something is coming and Iran is the aggressor.

Could this man's decision be a forewarning to the West and the rest of the world? Maybe we will
learn of a timeline.

Hopefully, this camera man will come forward with the information explaining his reasons for defecting.

I just spent the last ten minutes trying to work out why a catamaran would defect.

I would imagine that Ahmadinejad has many cameramen, as befits his need to be constantly in the public eye and portrayed positively as a world statesman and epitome of reasonableness and charm. The cameraman will probably merely confirm that Ahmadinejad is in fact an egomaniac obsessed with the cult of self and probably not very nice when out of view.

Exactly Beezer!! I mean think about it!! Would have to be something pretty serious to make you just up and leave the country!! Plus, I'M sure he was planning this well in advance! Not your everyday occurrence to take that kind of risk. My feeling is he knows what's about to go down!

He just might get the asylum based on the knowledge (credible or not).

either he doesnt care about his family in Iran or this article is just bull!

the dude obviously knows that his family will be safe because iran isnt NK or Saddams Iraq

also the dude played sad and depressed and made a few lies here and there to ensure his approval in the US, imagine him saying he just wants to live in the US (thats his reason), would the US government give him approval to stay? NO, they would send him on the same plane back to Iran with Ahmedi

Btw, do you really think the Iranian head of state would let his cameraman sit at important meetings ?

Maybe this guy is seeking asylum because he knows that his country very soon will suffer the same faith as Iraq ?

I heard it on Fox about an hour ago but they screwed up the story reporting that it was Ahmadinejad that is trying to defect. They really need to find some better fact checkers.

I just hope the guy finds what he's looking for.

We're one month off from the election...many believe we're going to bash the crap out of Iran shortly after.

Seems about the right time for people to defect from Iran.

That's funny, I would assume then that most of Congress, and most of the Knesset would be in dire need of cameramen. lol
