I'm not blaming US policy for it mate.

Nobody told our politicians to do it, and the general public and the media didnt make much noise.

To most people I think if they thought about it at all it was like "seemed like a good idea at the time"

Whilst our Bright sparks would like to think otherwise or dont care, we could be better prepared.
