The right to get married IS a right.

Do you say the Pledge of Aleggiance at the beginning of sporting events? or if your still in school, to the flag? Do you KNOW what the last 6 words are? With Liberty and Justice For All.

Now...Dictionary.com defines Liberty as being:

• The condition of being free from restriction or control.
  
• The right and power to act, believe, or express oneself in a manner of one's own choosing.
  
• A right or immunity to engage in certain actions without control or interference
  

Are you, and the people wanting legislation banning gay marriage and the limit of gay rights, upholding this Pledge of Allegiance?? I think not...

Also as a side note, did you know that one of the first things the homosexual agenda adressed was how to infultrate the Catholic seminarys? Prime pickens I guess. Not all were pedophiles but a good many were and the Church has paid the steep price for not dealing iwth it earlier.

Agreed, but there is a difference in my mind, girls are sexually mature and have been married earlier for centuries.

I ahve already said they would get that with a civil union, not a marriage.

All those rights could be granted with a civil union. They are attacking the meaning of a marriage! If you think I am nuts, so be it, but on this subject the American people are against gay marriage by a whopping margin.

A VAST Majority of the United States didnt like black people and referred to them as the N word (not to be uttered here) and didnt think they should get equal rights. They had seperate bathrooms, sepearte water foutains, seperate schools for Christs sake!! That changed!!! People Now See How Much they were wrong in the past!!! I will say this then, if the gays get the marriage rights, then a man should be able to marry his daughter, a tree, a dog or any other perverted thing he can thing of in the name of equality. That is a country in which I do not want to live, sorry. I will voice my opinion and if you happen to be gay and want to marry, go to Canada......

Sure...why the hell not? Why does it matter if they marry a tree or a dog?? Really, What the # do you care what people do in private or in there lives? Does it affect you? Does it harm you in anyway?? Or is it cuz you think its "icky"??
