ATS Site Owners and Mods, can you PLEASE activate "stars" for this forum., page 1

I have lost count on the amount of times I have gone to star a suggestion on this particular forum - and others have commented likewise accordingly. Some of the best responses that exist, exist here.

Many Mods have pointed out previously in forums as to why they give stars and the common denominators are "intelligent" or "funny".

Not only that but some of the suggestions are simply ground breaking in their logic and wisdom.

That is why this forum is only one of two of my "favourites"

Many times, if I want a welcome relief from the day-to-day debates that consume us all, this forum provides such an outlet for me.

Can this PLEASE be considered, it will also allow the site owners to gauge popularity of such suggestions.

PS: BEEZZER is the business board suggestion KING (of funny and intelligent)

it's probably to keep the star and flag collectors from bombarding BB&Q with nonsense. if you agree with a suggestion post a supporting post. there's no real need to for the stars and flags in here.

Well, I certainly cannot argue with that conclusion and had thought of that throughout, however, I think that stars would give a good gauge for suggestions over and above flags - after all, it is we who make the site what it is today.

If the Mods felt that the thread was being taken advantage of, as you suggested, then they could always weigh in with a warning or 404 it.

I appreciate your comments though - valid indeed.

I would love to see a new star system put in place in this forum. One where only the person who is starred and the mods are the only person who can see the amount of stars and possibly after a month has gone by (instant for mods). That way, there isn't the me too factor. I'd almost have to say no to avatars in this forum if stars can be given because many times the puurdy picture gets the stars.

How about just a simple thank you to show your appreciation.
That weighs more than a star would.

That way the op would know who thanked them and show there're appreciation.
