Burning Bridges

Friends all tried to warn me
But I held my head up high
All the time they warned me
But I only passed them by
They all tried to tell me
But I guess I didn't care
I turned my back and
Left them standing there

All the burning bridges that have fallen after me
All the lonely feelings and the burning memories
Everyone I left behind each time I closed the door
Burning bridges lost forevermore

Joey tried to help me find a job
A while ago
When I finally got it I didn't want to go
The party Mary gave for me
When I just walked away
Now there's nothing left for me to say

All the burning bridges that have fallen after me
All the lonely feelings and the burning memories
Everyone I left behind each time I closed the door
Burning bridges lost forevermore

Years have passed and I keep thinking
What a fool I've been
I look back into the past and
Think of way back then
I know that I lost everything I thought that I could win
I guess I should have listened to my friends

All the burning bridges that have fallen after me
All the lonely feelings and the burning memories
Everyone I left behind each time I closed the door
Burning bridges lost forevermore

Burning bridges lost forevermore

This soundtrack is one of my favorites... I particularly like the piece starting at 0.38

Out of the Star Trek movies, I personally like The Motion Picture theme as well as The Wrath of Kahn themes the most...

Of course this is another one of mine...

And two of the coolest theme songs ever made...

2nd place...

...And 1st place....

Repo Man soundtrack is full of good old school punk bands, and the Circle jerks are playing on the stage in one scene...

a favorite for me would be very hard to say but hasn't the soundtrack surpassed or at least equal to it's movie in the last few years? a lot of times i will get the soundtrack without ever seeing it's movie. i'm sure it was just another way to make more money in the early days but it turned into a whole other monster and a lot of the times the soundtrack will actually make a movie a better experience in my opinion.

This is a story of a music prodigy. Lyla is a renowned and beautiful cellist and Louis is a guitar player and vocalist at a club. Lyla and Louis fall in love once they meet each other following the music. Since they have different lives, they have to separate without seeing each other again. However, Lyla has had their baby - Evan, a prodigy born to music. Lyla has an accident and bears the baby but Lyla's father gives the baby to an orphanage without telling her, for fear of affecting her career. After that, both Louis and Lyla give up their music careers. Eleven years later, poor little Evan believes that his parents are waiting for him and goes to New York to find them. In New York, his musical gift leads him to success but also gives him some trouble. A monger uses Evan to make money and prevents him from achieving success. He escapes and runs into a church and people there are surprised by his gift and send him to the best music school...

Its a very good movie well worth the watch thats just a little bit about what the movie is about but id rent it just the music is worth the time..

You're right jiggerJ, that was a very cool, dynamic scene in Rocky.

One of the best grooves of the time.
