i don't know but i'm sure anyone who knows even a little about taxes knows charity equals loop hole and i bet not a single person, upon hearing how much he donated thought it was a gesture of kindness.

I find it a bit disturbing how everyone that criticizes Romney is criticizing him for making money and finding legal ways to not give it to the IRS or is it that he is a Christian and White?

My objection to Romney is he serves the Globalists but so does Obama but given a choice for a business partner or next door neighbor or someone to have in my home, I would choose Romney and Ryan and those with them over Obama and those with him.

You Obamanoids may very well go forward and continue to pull this country down down down, to your levels but you will not be doing so with me and mine or with what belongs to us.

Well I would say that is mighty white of you. Most people would call that racism that you are showing.

I find it absolutely hilarious when people insinuate what race I am. I bet you can’t guess.

I wouldn’t really call Mormonism a Christian religion it used to be considered a cult but a lot of people make the mistake though so don’t beat yourself up.

Romney really knows how to play his base I mean look at you. Romney flat out lies to you and your ready to invite him in your home.

Now usually I don’t do this but I think it is just about race with you only because of what you said.

BTW Independents are not usually what you would call obamanoids so if I am any indication of the independent vote you may be able to get that wish of yours because he will not be in the White House.

Just frakin amazing. It’s like Faux and friends on the net.

BTW having lived in south all my life I am pretty sure I know your type.

Strike Two

I think we all know that it was a way to avoid taxes. I was being sarcastic because later in the article you see that one of those charities was his own. So essentially he was donating to himself.

In the OP the second source I posted talks about it.

The man cant win with you. First you go after him for paying more in taxes than he legally should, then you go after him for donating to "wrong" charities. So he donates to his self founded charity, so does almost every other wealthy . You going to go off on Bill and MELINDA Gates or anyother philanthropists for doing the same?

LOL? That argument doesn't work when 70% of the USA is white, 80% are Christian.

Your candidate sucks in the personality, likeablity, and past occupational aspect. Get over it.

I find it very profound and it goes along with my sarcasm. I feel it speeks to his charcter as does the lie to the country.

BTW did you read the articles at all because it provides quite a bit of information? The OP is just a brief summary.

It just makes me wonder if the rolls were reversed would this be on fox.

This whole thing speaks to reason that if it wasn’t a big deal then why did he need to lie.

A lie like this is blatent and not a slip he is even trying to cover it up.

It probably wouldn’t have been a big deal if he strait forward to begin with but he wasn’t

This is an election issue.

Not how much he makes but his character.

I'm never going to condemn a person for legally working the system to better themselves. That's human nature. It's all in the open, so if it's illegal he will face that like everyone else. Looking at someone's tax return is a pathetic reach to demean. This whole debacle is a fail. No one cares. Ever met anyone that owns their own business? The return is fudged, falsified, and charitable write offs at the end of the year are common. Welcome to America.

I guess we will wait till the eection is over for America to decide who will be the best leader for this country. These last four years have been a disaster IMO, i dont want to see the sequal.

His entire life is under scrutiny his personal life business practices religious practices personal dealings friendships and on and on that is because he applying for the most important job in America and it is something every candidate goes through as they should. I feel like people are treating it like it’s just a job.

It isn’t just a job. The character of the president is important. What I am hearing is oh it’s only his taxes. What about the fact he lied to us about it and is trying to cover it up. If he is willing to do that on his taxes what would he do with something important that he may not want us to know about? Nixon anyone? WMDs? Did Bush drop the standards that much?

Is integrity something we will only ever know from history books with the White House?

Romney is straight up going to Butt smash America financially if he gets office.

Why I want to vote for Obama is strictly based on his plans to repair the economy.
Clinton says the way Obama is going to do is going to work then I believe him.

Clinton is the guy who brought our nations budget into the positive for the first time in a long ass time.

I am voting Obama because I believe he may not fix the economy like everyone thinks is supposed to happen with one swift political decision, but he will definitely make it better like he already as.
And to think I was going to vote for McCain.

Whoever any of you vote for bless you and I hope you are voting with your own sense of choice.

I never understood why people get so angry at each other for voting differently.

Politics working as intended in america. These people know what they are doing they are not incompetent. They only seem incompetent because everything they do is not for our benefit but it sure is for their benefit and the benefit of those who put them in power. Little by little they are becoming more blatant about it because we are still to wrapped up in the left right bs system we have.

Really - Johnson '12? I would love to get on board with Johnson, but when he echoes Obama in that "nobody committed any crimes" when referring to the mass banking fraud that is largely responsible for leading us into our current economic abyss, then I can't vote for him as he does not stand for applying the rule of law to all equally. You and I do what the bankers did and we are imprisoned for a long time. They do it and not only get a free pass, but bailed out!

Last I looked (which I'll admit was a couple weeks ago) Johnson's campaign was running a $200,000+ deficit....If a guy can't even run a campaign with a balanced budget, I don't hold out a whole lot of hope for him being overly concerned with a balanced federal budget - - which is a major issue for me personally.

Look at the 90's for solutions - This was a time when everyone prospered. When taxes were raised on the wealthy, tax revenues rose, the middle class prospered, and the budget was balanced.

This is such a tired response. While the 90's were great and the economy was booming, it was all a house of cards destined to fail. It was bubbles expanding which then burst under Bush, causing the great financial calamity we have today. The 90's was the era of Enron, the inflation of the dot com bubble, the housing bubble, and the creation of the "too big to fail" banks. The 90's was all smoke and mirrors and we are paying for those mistakes now. Clinton was, and always has been, a lying cheating shyster.

And while everyone sits around arguing about Romney's tax rate, nobody's talking about the fact that income taxes aren't even legal under the Constitution, the idea of a direct tax on one's income was shot down several times by the US Supreme Court, and there is no law which says we have to pay federal income taxes. Of course, not paying taxes to the IRS is tantamount to not paying the mob for "protection". So enjoy all those new tax agents that this current administration is hiring, I'm sure if you're looking for a job you can go join the goon squad and audit some poor working saps and take their property, sounds like fun.

The $5 trillion in deficits that has been run over the last 4 years amounts to what is effectively a hidden tax increase of 10% annually on the population. For those of us in the middle class, you know it has been tough. The cost of gasoline, food and other necessities have gone up significantly. Deficit spending is nothing more than a tax on your income and assets. None of the deficit spending went to help the average american. It all went to the thieves and crooks on wall street and at the big banks that caused the economic mess in the first place.

A government cannot spend more than it takes in via taxes. This is not an opinion, it is mathematical fact. Any attempt to do so via deficit spending destroys your purchasing power. This is exactly identical as if taxes have been raised. I think we will all agree (going out on a limb) that there are at least some things the government should do. And because of this, taxation is inevitable. But when you are taxed it should happen where you can see it, and what you're told the money is spent to do should be what it is spent for.

I can't in good conscience vote for a candidate that will continue to deficit spend and no current candidate has even sniffed the surface of proposing a plan that will end deficit spending.

Romney isn't fooling America, have you seen the polls? Even Fox News has Obama winning, America doesn't seem to be that stupid anymore, I still can't believe we elected Bush for a second term, it seems America has finally woken up. Go Obama!
