This pretty much sums it up for me. Thanks for that insight I always wondered how we'd grow that army of resistance., and this has a ring of truth to it.

Keep ranting brother.

You forgot another form of bigotry.

Fanboyism.

I'm dead serious.

Some people will look down on people who like things like Star Trek and Star Wars.

And there's often bigotry between rival fanboy groups.

Indeed. Their day of rule is swiftly coming to a close, as the age shifts.

They are trembling.

I see here in the US, they are even arming the weather service, some other odd branch.

Even the pencil pushers that are always "in the front, between the door, and the head mans office" are being armed.

Its laughable really.

Viva La Spain by the way!!!!!

People criticize what they don't understand. It's ironic only because by criticizing others, they never get to the truth. It's like, people who criticize don't really care about the truth, or why you rationalize the way you do. They just want to make you feel small so they feel big. # them!

Good post as usual.

I wonder if I dare mentioning that this thread is also about us being manipulated (divide & conquer).

Well, we are. And its very obvious if you look at the world. We are encouraged to think in terms of race, income class, sex, city, region, country, etc. Nobody seems to think of all humans as one family. Even though that is what we really are.

But peoples conciousness are changing. I can see that in a lot of people. Once you start seeing everybody as a human and not an American or a German or a Swede, you actually start to think of the planet as one society.

Im not supporting a world government because it would be corrupted beyond belief. But I do encourage people to start thinking of themselves as a human on a planet and drop most of the categories you have grown up with being put in.

Divide & Conquer is why one group can be attacked in society while the others do nothing.

I couldn't agree more....I grew up living amongst all different cultures, nationalities, races, religions, economic backgrounds, and in different environments.....what I learned was we may have differences, but as humans we all bleed red....as humans we all want the basics of life....these are the bonds that tie us, these are what is at the heart of the matter.

Most of my friends are either a different race, religion, political affiliation, age group, or nationality or various multiple combinations of those "labels" than me. Yet, I mix it up with them despite all of this....most of my friends do not agree with me on several important topics, I do not agree with them as well.....had a diagreement over anarchy and religion the day with a friend ive had since high school....we agree to disagree without bashing each others skulls in, is possible I swear.....call it mutual respect of differences.... I like to think of it as human decency.

Divide and conquer is the most basic and easily exploited form of manipulation. And it always works.

Example: Take two small puppies from the same litter. Two that really get along. The two who play together the most and get along the best. Put them in a room. For a few months, put two bowls of food in the room each day as they age. The puppies turn into dogs, still getting along perfectly well.

One day, cut back to one bowl of food per day. For awhile the dogs will get along, but in a strained way. But, after a week or two? They will be at each others throats.

An analog... take an economy where the average person is making about forty or fifty K per year. Now screw that economy up and cut the average new job wage by half....

Literally, we're dogs, locked together in a room, and the food rations have been cut. And, unfortunately, there are a lot more than two of us here, and many of us didn't get along to begin with.

Predictably, we're already eyeing each others jugulars....

What a scary but realistic way of sizing it up.....kinda disturbing.....Heff, you cut to the core of it, and I hate to admit it, but I am sure there are so many people out there who feel like starved dogs right now..... Cutting off resources is one way that sort of control works exceptionally and brutally well. God forbid the fin people of the USA ever experience a situation of being totally cut off from their basics....it would be hell on earth.

Yes. But have you noticed how the very people who are supposed to make the dogs get along better in that room, perhaps by encouraging words, petting them, giving them a share of his own food while its difficult times... the leaders of our countries...are not helping the dogs in any way to get along with each other?

In fact, while the dogs are at each others throat, the people who own them are working on plans to make them even more desperate. Until they really are fighting against each other to the death.

Once that happens, the owner puts the dogs in a 2x2 cell and punishes them for disturbing the peace. They are called terrorist, evil-doer dogs that can launch deadly attacks at any moment. And the rest of the dogs are told that they need to be protected from these other dogs.

That's another part of the overall strategy. Divide and rule has a pretty basic structure:

1) Create a problem.
2) Get people to blame one another for the problem.
3) Portray yourself as possessing the solution to the problem.

This is an oversimplified explanation, but one that fits. And the beauty is that it enables the powerful to literally rob you blind, abuse you, and - in the end - have you not only oblivious to the fact that they did it to you, but to also have you thanking them for it all.

And, in this manner, they can repeat the cycle over and over again, endlessly.

Just think, in the abstract, about corporate policy, taxes, and social programs in the US and you'll see it clearly in application.

Today we're down to that allegorical one bowl of food for every two dogs. Soon, someone will come along promising to return us to a "two bowl" reality - but they'll tell us there's a sacrifice to be made... Maybe we give up a right or two.. maybe we agree to abolish a social program - even though we've been paying into it our entire lives... But something.

Once we're disenfranchised... Well we'll do anything to get back to the norm.

Divide et impera - Divide and rule

Goethe made a counterproposal: Unite and Lead!

We let ourselves become categorized into nations, religions, whatever ... and then happily take up the conflicts that others create for us, defending "our" opinion to death.

Ok, one part of the solution surely is to get rid of those creating these conflicts and "taking away the second bowl".

But ... it may well be that we still stay friends with each other when we discuss topics with differing opinions, especially when we talk amongst people we know and meet regulary. But when it comes to taking decisions, let's say about distributing something, using funds for something, then conflicts break up that have their root in very personal convictions that have little to do with The Powers That Be but with our own inability to act on a higher level.

So, I don't know what has to happen to get rid of the individual xenophobia, homophobia, whateverphobia that is so prevalent in human psychology.

It will not be enough to have a worldwide revolution, an inner revolution has to happen as well.

There would surely be many people in Spain for example that would happily help to bring down their government and still argue that it is a great tradition to kill bulls in Torrero-shows.

Or what about some more controversial topics? Death penalty for an example - in my understanding of the "fifth dimension planet earth" there is no place for that - do you all agree? I doubt it.

Or on a lighter note: There are people that love to walk around naked in the mountains. I am sure they will get into not only discussions about that even after the whole armada of Messiahs came back.

How do we solve all this?

I think one piece of the solution would be to bring the level of wealth to a more balacanced status wordwide. Narrowing down the differences of daily life. Some fight for a cup of clean water a day, others are loosing nerves because the profit margin of their $ 1 Million investments went down 1%. Once we are one the same page many problems will stop to be. That of course sound a little socialist, although I respect private property. I think we should limit poverty and wealth and live in a worldwide common economic corridor.
edit on 27-9-2012 by consolution because: Chose a less controversial example.

We evolve. That's the long and the short of it. We grow as a species or we become fossils for some future apex species to dig up and study.

There are people who wish to control us. Counting on them to suddenly become human and act with conscience will not help us. There are recorded cases of tyrants, despots, facilitators, manipulators, controllers, etc. having a change of heart, and opening up about it to the world. There are even folks who have laid the agenda out, and flatly admitted that they'd been a part of it.

All that happens in those cases is that the whistleblower is marginalized and someone else takes over their role.

Once upon a time, not so long ago, it took a LOT of spin, PR, and work to undo the damage done by whistle blowers. Today? Today it's understood that we have a very short memory and a substantially shorter attention span. Studies differ, but generally 60 days for memory, and 72 hours for attention span.

It's also been learned that trying to control damage can do more bad than good. Nixon is still synonymous with Watergate. Not because of Watergate itself, but because his attempt at controlling it went so horribly wrong. And we live in a world far more complex than the Nixon generation did. They had three or four networks to watch - and most of those went off the air after about midnight.

Today the media cycle is so rapid, inundated, and dynamic that anyone can say or do just about anything and then simply wait a few days for another story to steal away our attention. Within months even sites like ATS will forget and move on.

So the trap we're in cannot be escaped unless we literally evolve as a species. We have to rebuild from the ground up - and we have to experience a collective epiphany in the process.

I was thinking of this thread today, while watching my coworkers debate quite heavily over the coffee table over what movies were good and which were bad. Some coworkers just couldnt understand how anyone could not like Aliens or the Godfather. So there was loud, heavy discussion over movies such as Star Wars.

I sat back, watching people attack and defend their position over a frigging movie.

Its the human condition. We are emotional, and we do take things personal. Its charming but can be lethal when used to control people for a specific purpose.

By the way, who doesnt love Star Wars? Frigging jerks.

One word my friend..

ACCOUNTABILITY

In a nation of convenience (led by a service-based economy), the notion of being accountable for one's actions goes flying out the window. Why "man-up" and accept responsibility when we can just pay for a lawyer to sue and shift blame on the other guy?

Those who find themselves weighed, judged, and categorized on sight, or within the first few words they happen to speak. This is the audience I have a strong need to address this evening, and that is exactly what I plan to do.

Well thanks for the the address Hef, because I have wanted to rant for a while myself. I am legally blind and one of the issues people seems to have, is that they donot have the ability to think before they speak. I don't carry a cane because if I do people do not approach me as a normal human being, which can be lonely at times. It is almost as if they talk to me like I am a child, and look at me as being a weak human being. If I don't carry it, people treat me normally and display a tone consistant with a conversation with a real person. Although once I bump into someone or step on a toe, people tend to get crappy no matter how humble I am about it. One of the wierdest things that occurs, is when you are with someone and you ask for help from a customer service rep. 95 percent of the time that rep will look at the person your with and relay messages to them, so that they can tell you, almost like you aren't even there or something. It is strange, because it doesn't matter whether you look lik a businessman, or talk like a rocket scientist they just seem to think you are uncapable.

PS. I have always enjoyed your threads and posts. See ya around!

Hefficide you on top of that one girl. All us disenfranchised growing in number every day. Paychecks get thin. opportunities get scarce. and people get cranky. Well perhaps more than cranky. I guess the question is, from where comes the spark and is there truly any will? Imagine now a world different from our own. Imagine a world where order and cohesion has decayed. Now this is a pretty serious state. and I for one hope that we should never get there.

I'm a great believer in compromise and I am so because it implies a two way movement. This is essential in my thinking. There are two sides here. Those who control industry, and those who subsist from industry. let's not be unfamiliar with the word industry. Industrial revolution. Industrial age. Industry is us. We are an industrious people. Those that control industry have determined it, industry that is, to be too difficult. Better to hoard wealth, exploit the equalization of globalization, and count money. I challenge the big guys. the corporations, the monied guys. You all know who you are, the ones sitting on big piles of cash. You guys know that to move industry forward you need an up to par sector of people who are sustained by industry. In my thinking here is where you people have failed. You have not allocated funds for the development of this sector. Talk about waiting for government to help you. Set up programs for job training, cultivate your workers, and industry may yet overcome our resource limitations and create a wondrous world

Or live with a deteriorating social fabric and contract.

The very leaders of our society, our very own "men of renown", indoctrinated the masses away from love of the God of their forefathers and into a life that values greed, the love of money, the love of self, and the love of sin. These are the ethics that create two snarling dogs over one bowl of food.

You are a manipulator of emotions. Manipulators never address the cause because it's not ever their intent to actually benefit the ones that they are manipulating. Not once in your thread do you ever speak to the truth of the matter. Instead, you pull on the emotions of the "disenfranchised" to point them in the direction that the "men of renown" need them to go. You pull them in by appeals to emotion then offer them the "solution"...the very same "solution" planned by the beast. Oh yes, you are cunning.

The indoctrination involved here is so deep seated in your genetic predispositions

Some of the latest science suggests that our instincts are about 10,000 years behind the curve. That it takes about that long for genetic knowledge to permeate the gene pool. This is why you have an instant and powerful reaction when you see a snake or a spider

So we do have a genetic predisposition towards wanting to repel what is different

AND WAIT FOR IT .....YOUR AND THEIR SOLUTION

So the trap we're in cannot be escaped unless we literally evolve as a species. We have to rebuild from the ground up - and we have to experience a collective epiphany in the process.

You are a wolf in sheep's clothing. As I stated above, you have absolutely no intention to ever point people to the cause of their problems - sin - and it's God ordained solution - faith of Christ Jesus. But you have every intention of pointing people to "the fix", "the solution"...."becoming one".

The MSM has been flooded with 'scientific articles' surmising that people's thoughts and beliefs stem from their genetic makeup. It's a complete load of hogwash, yet modern day descendants of Christian forefathers are lapping it up as truth. Why is this dangerous and why does it expose your manipulation? You point them to the solution! "unless we evolve as a species"...."Now imagine what a chorus of millions or billions could accomplish! Total redefinition of what society is and can be. Total renewal"....".. wait until you hear us all speak as one."

You manipulate people and your end goal is that of the beast - the genetic transformation of mankind.

Your speech was echoed by the president of Iran a few days ago.

The arrival of the Ultimate Savior (Islamist Mahdi) will mark a new beginning, a rebirth and a resurrection. It will be the beginning of peace, lasting security and genuine life.

He will come and he will cut through ignorance, superstition, prejudice by opening the gates of science and knowledge. He will establish a world brimful of prudence and he will prepare the ground for the collective, active and constructive participation of all in the global management.

-He will come so that hands will be joined, hearts will be filled with love and thoughts will be purified to be at service of security, welfare and happiness for all.

-He will come to return all children of Adam irrespective of their skin colors to their innate origin after a long history of separation and division linking them to eternal happiness.

The arrival of the Ultimate Savior, Jesus Christ and the Righteous will bring about an eternally bright future for mankind, not by force or waging wars but through thought awakening...

And you know as well as I do that the many will choose the path, taking the image of the beast instead of choosing to be born again in the image God. And to that end your thread is nothing but propaganda and indoctrination for the beast. Jesus did state that He has to cut short the end of the Age for if He doesn't there would be no flesh saved. To generations indoctrinated that science is god and truth, your words are very appealing. They will alter their God created DNA out of fear for their life, believing the son of perdition instead of the Son of God, Christ Jesus.

"Skin for skin!" Satan replied. "A man will give all that he has to save his life." Job 2:4
