Family. If you're referring to what a 5 year old finds beautiful or takes pleasure in from the opposite sex, I'd say perfect lines willing to connect.

Great, starred your post.
The willingness of children to love, even when they know of no 'god' is fundamental to the individual (well most anyway) even a child that is raised in a war nation where death is common can feel absolute love for another.
The love is real and has the same complexity as an 'adults' love, the loss of love is also more powerful as love is more pure.
So do you agree with me that love does not come from, is not taught or a ‘gift’ by a god?

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. 1 Corinthians 13:4-7
At that time the disciples came to Jesus and asked, “Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?”
He called a little child and had him stand among them. And he said: “I tell you the truth, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore, whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.
“And whoever welcomes a little child like this in my name welcomes me. But if anyone causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him to have a large millstone hung around his neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea.
Woe to the world because of the things that cause people to sin! Such things must come, but woe to the man through whom they come! If your hand or your foot causes you to sin, cut it off and throw it away. It is better for you to enter life maimed or crippled than to have two hands or two feet and be thrown into eternal fire. And if your eye causes you to sin, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better for you to enter life with one eye than to have two eyes and be thrown into the fire of hell. Matthew 18:1-9

Jesus answers your question. Most parents feel the unconditional and innocent love of a child. It is often pure. God is love and He is light. But what happens as that child grows up? He ingests the poison in this world that is not of Our Creator. He learns violence, hatred, envy, greed, lust, power etc. He learns the world's skewed definition of love which states that it equates to tolerance. Those poor qualities are abundantly found in man-made religions and secular and scientific teachings such as "survival of the fittest".
Jesus came for sinners. He came to release His brothers and sisters from Babylon, from the world's corrupt systems which teach and indoctrinate them with the world's values instead of His. We have no internal power to overcome it. We have no truth in this world except the gospel. Our proof is watching our children grow from innocence and love to adults who no longer express those same virtues in the same manner. Love becomes a weapon and selfish, love becomes tolerant of sin. A child will cry at any depictions of violence because he has no understanding of evil, it repulses his soul. A child is frightened of evil. But what happens as they grow up? They know good and evil, their hearts hardened to it. These are observations that many parents make and yet, many refuse God's words that this world must be overcome before access to the Tree of Life is regained.
Your observations of children prove the existence of our Creator, and their transformation from innocence to sinful adults proves the existence of evil on Earth. We all fall short of Heaven, we all fall short of the righteousness of God. God knows this and stepped into our creation as the Way to overcome. You must be BORN AGAIN.

Peace to you, I see your words as a break down of something different than the topic and words of my thread, and more of a break down of what was said by Jesus in a scientific manor. These words may work for you but I am trying to help the understanding of many, as each soul wants love, not correction.
Understand the loving Spirit of the words of Christ, rather than unemotional meanings it may contain. The beauty and treasure exists within the Spirit of Faith, not in that of discrepancies. Faith compensates for all, try to look at the spirit of words instead.
Peace and understanding to you

Patience is a virtue and you’re taxing my virtue…..
My soul did not come from a ‘god’; I believe in our ancient past that aliens were ‘confused’ as gods.
Doing good things does not bring you closer to a ‘god’ it only brings us closer to advancing our species.
When we die, that is the END, no fluffy clouds, no religious nutcases patting each other on the back for choosing the ‘right god’ correctly, no ‘eternal life in blessed happiness’….. Your life just ends, it’s not that hard to understand – and there is no need to be scared of that.
It still amazes me each day that people need to cling on to some fairy-tale and live their life’s based on a bunch of words written by man two thousand years ago to control and manipulate people.
In response to your thread….. it does matter how people conduct themselves, but not because of what a ‘god says’ but because our main aim is to become a type 1 civilisation. End religion and racism and we might just get there and explore the universe like our alien ‘gods’.
True religion is that of ‘virtue’? – I say no!
Creating a better species of human animals by virtue (education & science) is the only way to advancing our species.
