American Pickers episode 66

Did anyone catch episode #66?

I did, and I observed some strangeness.

The two pickers went to this old blokes house and barn.

The old timer, at one time in his life belonged to a "club" called the "Odd Fellows".

As the two pickers rummaged through his place, they came accross a old slide projector.

The picker pulled out some of the slides and held them up to the sun so he could see them.

The first slide was a pyramid with an eye.

The others that he held up where a skull and cross bones and one that looked like the Arc of the Covenant.

I just thought it was kinda strange.

Who are the "Odd Fellows"?

I just googled oddfellows and everything you might want to know is there. Why dont you research it and come back and tell us what you found.

So, googled them.

I found nothing about the pyramid and eye, the skull and crossbones , nor the Arc of the Covenant.

Shows like Pickers and Pawn Stars have a lot of symbolism that relates to hidden human activity.

Nothing new, that stuff is in all the popular programs.



Talking about lost treasure after an old bell comes into the shop. The bell is a significant symbol.

Haven't watched it since episode 27, that was a really good one

You are not alone. After seeing this episode myself, I wanted to post something. The slides with the arc of the covenant and the all seeing eye caught my attention. Im interested in what the Odd Fellows views are with those images.
