After only a few more weeks, countless provocative, fact-filled tv ads and three highly anticipated, televised presidental debates, the fate of our beloved nation will be sealed, once again, at least presumably, for the next four years, or not, whatever.

So, what is your prediction, who's gonna be the next poster boy for the tptb in the White House, President of the United States of America?

Will there be an october surprise or will it be a surprise if there is none?

Does it really matter who wins, if so, why?

Obama or Romney or ?

I love those caricatures!
And the morphed pic is just creepy.

Obama will win.

I don't think there will be an October Surprise, but the Romney camp will go deep, down and dirty, in an attempt to scare people from voting for Obama.

It definitely matters who wins. Obama will keep us on our current (but difficult) path of recovery and move us forward (or furward, depending on your species) and Romney will start more wars, exterminate the middle class and eliminate government programs like medicare and medicaid, and other entitlements. Romney/Ryan is a Ayn Rand wet dream.

Agreed!

Voting for Romney is equal to suicide...Obama must win.

Ok, noted. two 'Obama will win'-predictions

I too think, if everything goes as planned and nothing surprisingly happens, Obama will win.

I value your opinion, but i have to disagree. See threads in my signature for further explanation.

Nice post. I think Barry has it in the bag. He hired a company, owned by George Soros, to count the November presidential vote, in Spain. We used to call this a "lead pipe cinch". I believe the GOP were told to run idiots and Mitt was chosen as the prime idiot, should the electorate do the sane thing and throw the faker out. The plan is to have WWIII but after the November elections in Israel and USA. That should be the end of Bibi's political career. In any case the tenure of TPTB, is almost over and the worldwide disasters are about to kick off and we will all be too distracted to care who is president. Smile, the government loves idiots.

No October surprise, at least nothing valid.

I'm sure Fox, Brietbart et Al will invent or spin something from back in the 90s. But it won't sway anybody as it only plays to their base.

The Obama camp doesn't need to pull out any surprises as Romney/Ryan are doing their work for them by shooting themselves in the foot every time one of them opens their mouth.

Obama will win the election.

I just can't decide if it will be close or a more than comfortable victory.

I predict that if Obama win this election that in two years the Reps will control Congress again. It also means another impeachment procedure as well, starting with Fast and Furious and continuing with more investigations into his use of Executive orders and abuse of privilege.

I have a feeling that we will see an even more divided America on top of it all, but no riots.

However if Romney wins, we’ll see riots followed by a Democratic controlled Congress.

Regardless of who wins, we be at war soon again as well.

Thanks.

Ok interesting, another 'Obama gonna be the Winner' - prediction, involving Soros-backed foreign vote count scam sheme, subsequent World War III and finally the apocalypse.

Barry O, Willard or who?

Carter and his failed economy were ahead by about 5-10 in the polls.

It's going to depend on turnout. The small business owners have been hit extremely hard by many of obama's policy's. Oddly enough they aren't always a major voting block, but for this they will likely come out in droves...........

I completely agree - when I saw that morphed picture, creepy was the exact word that came to my mind.

Obama will win.

This one - I think it will be close, but I think that the overconfidence of the Obama supporters will keep a lot of them from the ballot box and Romney wins a very close race. I'm not saying that I support either one of these bozos, just what I think will happen IMHO.

Both of their campaigns will be, and have been already, playing cheap and dirty. That's just politics. The October (or maybe even September) surprise may be an Israeli attack on Iran which will force Obama's hand. I can see either choice he makes will hurt him.

Also - Obama's path is, in reality, no different than Bush's path. He keeps the wars going with no exit in sight as well as drone bombing more countries than Bush even considered bombing. He continues and way increases the out of control spending that Bush started and the elimination of the middle class is well underway with his policies. I really don't understand how this partisanship on both sides has blinded so many people with their hatred. Bush and Obama are the same. You can't logically like one and hate the other - they are both bad for America...not that Romney's the answer, but how can he be worse?

Obama has this one, and I predict an embarrassing display for Republicans in 2016 followed by a complete party crash well before 2024. That ideology won't be able to survive natural societal progression. The number one enemy of the right wing is the thing that gives men hope (hint: it's not today or yesterday)

Ok, but is your prediction than, because of unusual voter turn-out Romney will win? Please clarify.

I heard and seen stories where small business owners are saying to their empoyees that they will be closing the doors if Obama is re-elected.

Nice little PSYOP technique, but it may work.

I still think at this point it is a toss-up and it will be a tight race.

Obama will win by a landslide.

Romney has done nothing but alienate Independent voters and fracture his own party.

I was actually not going to vote this election. But after his ignorant and pompous 49% comment I'm going to vote for Obama just to see this guy lose, badly.

Hmmm.. ok..

If Obama wins Fox News will cry loudly, MSNBC will cheer loudly..and the rest of the news outlets will cheer a little softer. If Romney wins the reverse of this will happen.

If Romney wins all of those who have said they leave the country will stay right where they are. Kind of like they did with Bush.

Regardless of who wins there will be a plethora of threads here saying the other side stole it...and about 1/2 of ATS will wonder how th' heck whoever won managed to win.

The political divide already evidenced by the posts in this thread will continue to deepen

Romney is his own worst enemy he flip flops so much you have no idea what his stance is on anything. Not to mention he and Ryan won't give any details on what loopholes they would close to fix the debt. Do they really think this just trust us will work? It's funny when Ryan keeps bringing up Ayn Rand and how she was against socialism but forgets to mention she was on SS and Medicaid both are socialist programs.

If hope is the enemy of Conservatives, it is the bane of Liberals as well.

The entitlement mentality is mathamatically impossible in it's current state. But this Administration just keeps doubling down on stupid. Just like the previous one.

Obama is just a better campaigner than Romney. He has a more experianced staff.
