How will you spend December 21st?

Well for one thing nothing cool big or doomy will happen although the forums will be filled with fever pitch post of 'ANY Min. NOW threads. LOL
I will maybe have a small drinky drink so salute the Mayan folks who aren't able to enjoy the night sky with the rest of us.

december 21st is 4 days before christmas and that`s about when i start doing my christmas shopping so i`ll probably go christmas shopping.

On 12/21/2012 I will be doing two things.

Watching the internet for all the doomsayers and date setters to start back peddling and trying to justify a new date.

I will also be in my usual Christmas funk since my second wife, whom I spent a 17 year honeymoon with, was so big into Christmas that when she died of cancer shortly before Christmas in 1995 I just can't enjoy the season without her any more.

Nothing is going to happen that day man. People are scaring themselves over nothing. It's just going to be another day. I plan on kicking back and sitting on my couch watching the fire in my fireplace while drinking some hot chocolate while all these people go apesh8t over nothing. Then (Lord willing i don't die before then) i'll wake up the next morning and play some league of legends while everyone else willbe drinking a couple shots of whiskey to calm themselves after their stupidscare.

Like I do the Friday before and will on the Friday afterward..... get on with life.

I'll problably wake up, eat either taco bell or some spaghetti for breakfast, go to work, get pissed off at everyone and everything at work like everyday. After that ill do what pretty much everyone else here will do.....push the limits of my alcohol tolerance. Also problably going to play some Battlefield 3.

sitting at my computer desk..drinking a couple cold ones....trolling everything having to do with this date..normal day.

It's supposedly at 11:11 UTC so that's 4:11 am here... I think I'll sit out and watch the sky for a bit, then announce an ATS vacation as I don't wanna read all the inflammatory I told ya so threads. Waste of time and energy IMO but you know there are plenty here who will be falling over themselves to make their neener neener posts. I just hope it's a clear night...

I have news for all you Doom Sayers occurring on Dec 2012....the alignment of the Earth with the center of the Dark Rift or Galactic Core where a Super Giant Black Hole exists....already happened about 27,000 YEARS AGO! That is the approx. distance....27,000 Light Years of Earth to the Galactic Core.

So what we now see as an alignment is looking at an alignment that happened approx. 27,000 YEARS AGO!

Where in the world do you get UTC time, is it ahead or behind britain? Sorry for my ignorance i'm trying to deny it lol. In the mean time i'm the mug who agreed to work saturday. One hing i do know, we're a day closer to the end of the world than we were when i started this thread!

There is a new moon phase over Tehran, Iran is from December 13th - December 20th (source), so I'll probably be watching the news about the aftermath/retaliation for a strike on their nuclear reactors.

I kid, I kid... It will be just another day as usual. At 11:11 UTC I'll probably be sleep, or just waking up getting ready for work.

Maybe Darwinism will kick in and all the crazies will top themselves beforehand because its the only way to ascend to Planet X as it approaches invisibly. Then afterwards ATS returns to being a place of discussion where FACTS are used to settle issues. Wow, mindblowing thought that!
