*mods if there is a similar thread already please remove, as this is just a random question and not really sure how to search for it, or relocate to proper forum if this doesn't sparkle with the rest of the members*

As with most of my post not well written and probably hard to follow but just try to do your best.

I am bored at work and got to thinking, dangerous i know. Simple question for Americans or UN countries, If it came down to it and our country needed us to fight for them would you?

So i know most of us don't believe in the wars that our country is currently fighting, and policing the globe. And that our "interest" are not of actual interest to the average citizen, But say that the ww3 does happen and years of TPTB shenanigans catch up to them and there actually is a real threat to our nation. Would you take arms to protect our nation? Would you enlist, if asked? Say there is a attack on our homeland and our borders are no longer secure would you take to the streets?

On one hand i feel that TPTB should get a taste of their own medicine and take their lashings, and that the sheeple of this country that blindly support our wars can get a first hand look at what we do to people around the globe. On the other hand its not TPTB that will be facing such a attack as they will be hiding and laughing at our demise. And also that the sheeple of this nation that blindly support their actions don't understand the truth and still feel as tho we are still liberating people. Should we sit back and laugh at them as they did to us when we try to educate them on the ongoing affairs?

I only ask this as i see a decent amount of people around here that seem to despise our nation and wonder if they would actually take a stand if there was a clear and present danger to our society, even if it is blow back from our ways, or if they would let it fall.

I personally would sacrifice myself for the greater good of my fellow citizens, not government interest, and future generations. I love my country and what i was TOLD it stood for, despite how we are viewed around the world today I know many of my fellow Americans still feel the same way. And i would love for us to once again be known for our compassion and willingness to fight for others freedoms and rights. So where do you stand?

Keep it dirty!

For our country? No.

For the freedom of our country? Yes.

Only if America itself were attacked would I fight. Piss on the UN they have their own military.

Dc is not my country. They are not a legitimate government, i do not follow their laws unless forced to. This is the biggest coup ever.

I will not fight for dc. I will fight them, for my country, the united states.

Ha ha ha ha ha!

Thanks for the laugh.

I would fight for my friends and my family but my country can stuff itself if it wanted to hand me a gun.

I guess i should specify fight for your country men. Any war the government says we should fight is usually one to run from. When i refer to fight for your country i am more thinking just our homeland not our government. If our homeland was actually in danger would you fight? even if you had to take the fight to them (other country) would you go?

Would I fight for my country? Absolutely and unequivocally yes. Hell yes and then some.

Would I fight for or to preserve the leadership of my country? In equally strong terms. No. Hell No.

*IF* the second happens to have agendas and needs that coincide with the first, there could be a situation where fighting for the one IS fighting for both. That's a coincidence though, and purely unintentional.

Your thinking on the same level as me you silly wrabbit
there may be a time that we as people need to work along side of those who cause the damage. If there was a direct threat on our people because of something TPTB did I would still stand for my countrymen

Isn't that what the US is doing now? i mean the attack on the home land was 11 yrs ago, and US is still fighting countries after 100,000+ civilian causalities and soldiers casualties and trillion dollar deficit.

Lol, I already volenteered and served this corrupt .gov, I would without question fight for my people. As havee many here on ATS.

If it came to actual war, against a foreign invader or even our corrupt .gov/corporate oligarchy, as many of them would die by hands as necessary or possible before I fall to ensure my childrens safe and happy future.

I am just a natural born fighter, I don't conform very well, me and mine will have liberty, it is not an option that I am even willing to contemplate.

I don't see us going after Israeli Mossad.

Oh wait...

False Flag. I almost forgot.

i like hearing all those no's.

if shtf they'll force you to fight. they'll have a draft, hunt you down and make you report.

if not, its off to prison, where you'll die a horrible death when the nukes start falling.

sure a few of you will pack up the tent and live in yellowstone.

and wonder if that park ranger is going to arrest you or say good morning.

I understand what you are saying and i do have a response but i don't want this thread derailed or 404'ed so i will just say this, a attack by a foreign nation not assisted by the us gov

I like your attitude, and appreciate your service, as with all service members. A good friend of mine nearly lost his life in Afghanistan and sadly witnessed a few of his brothers fall around him.

You know what would be interesting? A test call-up. To see who would really fight for this country and who'd play chicken.

I wish they would try to start a draft. These days I hope people would laugh at the prospect. I don't think they have enough prisons for draft dodgers. Bring the FEMA camps, i'd gladly take up arms to close them down as fast as they could erect them.

I really cannot comprehend what went though people's minds when the last draft was implemented.

Forcing people to take the lives of other people, while putting their lives on the line seems a bit barbaric to me.

What exactly would we be fighting for? Our 9 to 5 jobs? The chance to continue watching reality TV?

Do you think you'd be better off under some other form of government? Is there a government in the world you'd prefer to see running the US?
