I'm honestly not ready to condemn Romney for dyeing his face to appeal to Latinos.

I am ready to suggest that it may just be a very unfortunate spray tan

And here's the thing: if someone from the campaign did talk him in to getting one and it turned out bad like this, it's not like he can just hide his face for a week or two to let it fade a bit. The guy has to be in front of crowds of people, cameras, etc. pretty much all day every day.

So no, I'm not sure it was a sleazy racist way to appeal to some voters, but damn it still looks bad haha

He would do much better playing up his Mexican birth certificate....then a orange tan.

Oh but I would suggest some 'Just for Men Gel'......lol

I think Romney is smart enough to know that too. I sincerely doubt that he intended to appeal to them using poorly applied makeup.

... and you think it's a coincidence that the first time this happens is for a Latino audience??? He know that people would be to stupid to fall for something like that. He's intentionally sabotaging his campaign so that the Obama victory is believable. Obama has been chosen the victor by the people in charge, so Romney keeps making one blatantly idiotic move after another.

Then why did Goldman Sachs and the banking cartel donate so much money to his campaign?

I've done competitive ballroom dancing, and all the professionals use tanning products. This is really silly folks. Romney haters are really trying hard to find something evil about him. LMAO on this one.

wow that`s just pathetic, it isn`t even a good dye job, his forehead looks orange. He`s such a bozo, if a clown like him gets elected this country is going to be in real trouble.

It just highlights what a buffoon he is.

I can understand the use of makeup, to prevent glare from the lights off of greasy or sweaty skin. That's standard. But that has never included tanning/bronzers. Save that for the bodybuilders and swim suit competitions. A politician slapping on this much bronzer, especially when going before a Hispanic audience, is showing his innate desire to appease them with his visage. He couldn't have made it any worse if he had added a mustache and sombrero.

How is it that he manages to embarrass himself every step of the way? Unless he's some kind of decoy candidate? A kind of juxtaposition, lawls.

So no one's called it CGI yet. Huffpo posting this nonsense just highlights how pathetic they are in trying to make the opposition look bad. It really is one of the most pathetic ploys I've ever seen.

No, no one has called it CGI. Because that would be a pathetic excuse at damage control. If you don't believe the pics then watch the video. If you want to start a straw man argument against HuffPo then save it, they are not the source for this and a number of other media outlets have also commented on the brown-faced Romney interview.

Every UFO VIDEO I've seen on this site had 20 people calling it CGI. What's the difference? It's nothing for people to put tan on their face for something. Like I said, I've done competitive dance and if you had ever been in that atmosphere you too would be laughing at this pathetic attempt to make him look like a devil.

Look at this video and tell me which ones have a natural tan, and are they trying to look hispanic, and tell me if you would rather see them with pasty white skin.

He sure did. Same as Obama wore his old worn out shoes on the campaign trail in 2008, so he could sit there and say "See I'm down with the poor people. I'm with you"!

Nothing amazes me anymore. These people are Iktomi, coyote the trickster, the liars and game players. Coyote is always watching and waiting.

Are you serious?

Are you seriously going to compare the skin tone of a general group of people to the way you've been TAUGHT that a certain group of people speak. Your ignorance is palpable. I find myself offended not at your words, but the staunch conviction in which you so brazenly display your own ineptitude.

Then you are the person who will vote Republican regardless of what animal they put up.

If they decide to nominate an elephant next time you will say it didn't mean to look gray.

The fact is that Romney is as fake as his tan. If you can't see that it is because you have blinders on. We will never be able to move forward as long as people believe these liars.

That is funny!

I wish this was a good time to make jokes about things because the situation is rife with funny things. John Stewart finds ways to make it funny, but that is his business and he is good at it.

I have a harder time, but I like what you did there.

And Obama talks ghetto to appeal to the black voters so what?
That is a very inaccurate statement, champ. And I'm no fan of O. I'm a black guy, along with a few other ingredients, but I'm not what anyone, by any stretch, would define as ghetto. By your own admission, you seem to think that most black people are ghetto, and you're way off, Kemosabe. And being ghetto isn't confined to one race, Believe that.
