US Prepares for Riots, Buys 1.2 Billion Bullets

U.S. Homeland Security is preparing for an all-out “American Spring” rebellion and has bought 1.2 billion bullets for counterterrorist snipers.

The new purchase is for .223 rifle ammunition, plus another 176,000 rounds of .308 caliber 168 grain hollow point boat tail (HPBT) rounds in addition to 25,000 rounds of blank .308 caliber bullets.

This is really, really worrying now.

It's not just hollow round ammo, they're purchasing sniper rounds-

“All of the sniper grade ammunition is being used by trained, or in-the-process-of-being-trained snipers,” wrote Smith. Adding up the number of lethal bullets tallies a potential 135,384 kills for the snipers, based on U.S. Army and Marine figures from the Vietnam War, when soldiers used 1.3 rounds of ammunition for each verified kill.

Just what on earth are they preparing for, is it really this bad?

There is speculation that Iran has been infiltrating Latin America over the last few years. With the American borders seeing millions of illegal immigrants into the country untracked, Iran could already have agents in American cities.

I don't really buy that, but it is the pretext for false flag operations to justify whatever actions the DHS and upper elites have planned.

OMG! The USA bought some bullets.

What I don't get is why they are "buying" these large quantities of ammo on the public market?

Wouldn't you think it would behoove them to just buy their own ammunition machinations and manufacture it without public knowledge?
Surely the government has the capability and funding to do such a thing. Seems to me that it would cost less and they wouldn't be subject to reporting quantity.

This just doesn't make sense to me on several levels.

What I don't get is why by "25,000 rounds of blank .308 caliber bullets"? I guess you could uses them for training or to scare the crap out of people. You can still harm or kill someone with a blank, if you shot them at almost point blank range.

Again? Is this a new purchase on top of the billion or so hollow points reported last month Or is it a rehash of the old story? What's the count up to now? If i rember right they had to the tune of 4 hollow points for every man woman and child in the U.S. Either way it's freightening to stock that many hollow points and not have a good reason for the public.

Ahh, such a trusted news article.

Would love to see the sources for this, or any sort of documentation that can verify this. Seems that the number of rounds went up after the story about 450 million rounds being purchased was proven to be embellishment on a story.

.308 is a sniper round. I guess there planning on snipping people out?

I can understand on a psychological basis, much like it occurring on a given date 9-11 cuts deep into our psyches.
Letting the people know that these agencies are gearing-up for something; some people will fight, some will not participate...a 'revolution-ary' deterrent?

Why do I care that these agencies are starting to hoard bullets? I don't care, unless one or several have my number. Even then I will not participate. Nor will I be playing hide and seek.

And as a side note, the orders that have been verified as TRUTHFUL have been ones where there are contracts to provide ammunition for X number of years, up to a maximum of a certain number of rounds. The one I read specific numbers on was yearly contract, up to 5 years in length, to provide a maximum total of 450 million rounds. So buying on the open market? We dont buy ammunition that way. Sorry.

Until there's some sort of verification on how the hell they came up with this information, I'm deeming this to be fit for the sh*t pile of rubbish.

snipers won't use mass produced rounds for anything serious. they load their own rounds because of the inconsistency's in mass rounds so i'm at least certain the 308 rounds are for target only.

the us gov't buys things on the open market all the time. they take bids and then they go with the lowest bid. That's how we wound up with chinese knockoff routers in so many gov't systems. Nobody told the geniuses that craig's list and ebay were not the best place to go by devices that need to be authentic and secure.


As to the amount, I'm wondering what they normally pruchase when buying ammo but, given the current state of affairs, it's quite possible they are gearing up for potential use in the ME or even here at home.

The source of this is from a podcast and alex jones' website so the assumption that the government is preparing for riots is nothing more than speculation, by AJ, that the world is coming to an end and, by the way, you should stock up on gold, which I'm selling. Now back to your regularly schedule end of the world fear mongering.

US military sniper rounds come from their own production team. They never buy them off the "open market".

Simple...because there is money to be made by people with inside information, who happen to buy stock just before the order came in. It is a "friend of the pyramid" kinda deal...

You see, the issue is that a lot of this ammo is being bought for govt orginizations that arent known for being involved in law enforcement like IRS agents.
