Australia: 'White-pride' groups spark protest backlash fears

Australian police fear future counter demonstrations by non-Muslim fighting back at a pro-Muslims protests will result in violence.

Messages have begun to appear on Facebook, calling on what has been characterized by the press as 'white pride' and 'white home-grown' Australians, to respond violently to future Muslim protests.

"Let's show these bearded goat-herders that we run this country, not them and if they don't like it, they can [SNIP]back to whatever [SNIP] they came from on the leaky boat they showed up on. Spread the word and come ready for a battle for our rights and our land... ...We grew there, they flew there! Australians unite!"

Other messages posted online have been just as direct.

"If these Muslims wanna riot and ruin our beautiful city over some stupid[SNIP] we will give them a [SNIP]riot to remember," said one message.

Another read: "[SNIP]. This is Australia, not [SNIP]Muslim land. Fight back if they start again."

Muslims have planned a peaceful march for this weekend. New South Wales authorities are anticipating a wave of anti-Muslim retaliation.

Personally, I find the timing of the planned 'peaceful' Muslim march rather insensitive in light of the riots by Muslims world-wide.

I am also not surprised that a number of Australians feel they have to take the streets back from violent Muslims.

One can only hope that cooler heads on both sides prevail and violence is avoided.

I am puzzled however why radical Australian Muslims think they can brandish signs demanding people are killed for insulting Islam and yet apparently not expect any reaction?

Does Australia consider the protests to be 'peaceful' when the people hold up signs calling for violence (calling for the beheading of innocent people) and all the while are shouting with their fists pumping in the air? Really? I would have called it something other than 'peaceful' ... but okay.

Why is Australia such a white pride haven? I hear more about Neo-Nazi's in Australia than I do here in the States. There was even a movie based on Neo-Nazi in Australia. Romper Stomper.

It is time to face facts. islam is an enemy to all western nations. It is time to deal with them as we dealt with the nazis in WWII.

I completely agree with the Australian sentiment, if not the actions.

Muslims have no right demanding any government bow down to them. None.

And true peaceful protests do not show signs like "Behead those who insult Islam".

I've got news for you, sparky, you are not so special that you are above criticism and Insult.

You have religion? So what? Just because you have religion doesn't mean that we have to bow down before you.

You come to our country, you follow our rules, and stop trying to force us to obey your rules. You apply your rules to yourselves and anybody else who wants to convert, you don't force them on to other people in other countries.

You do that and maybe you'd stop generating so much hostility towards you and your crap religion that tells you to "behead those who insult Islam".

The two quotes do have a point.I think these mad Muslims underestimate white man.There are plenty of people ready to crush them like worms.
As for the poster who said Australia has a Neo Nazi problem because there has even been a film about it romper stomper,that was years ago and its a film.Skin heads were everywhere in Britain from the seventies to the nineties,I used to do the scooter runs with them in the early nineties.I wasn't a skin and was a lot younger than most of them but they looked after me well,nice guys just don't start crap with them.

Maybe because they've had enough of all muslims behaving in a disgusting, expansionist and irrational way. Maybe they are the few who understand the futility of multiculturalism forced upon us and are taking a stand. Some might say racism. I'd say cause and effect rationalism.

I have no idea what religion you are but I think I felt the same way when I was in Ireland except I felt it about Christians. They blew up a bomb near me. You can imagine I was pretty irritated.

Here's a cute little tidbit - the photo of the child holding the sign calling for people who insult the prophet to be beheaded, that childs mother actually said "I did not know what behead meant." as a defence.

She said all she knew was the word Prophet was on the sign.

She's been here 2 years.....

I have several moderate Muslim friends. We're just going to tell them 'you're not Muslim anymore cos Pinke likes you?' I have dinner around this person's house on a regular basis. They've never done anything to anyone. Should we just round everyone up? What about the opressed moderate Muslims? Kill them too?

And who is pandering? I've barely heard a single word in support of them in the last couple of weeks.

Please, come to my work place. I have three Muslim co-workers that I guess need collected once we decide to do whatever it is you want to do with them? First stone and all that? Come to think of it my dentist is a Muslim too, but can you wait till after the 23rd cos I'm having some work done.

Incredulous jokings aside ... what research have you done in this area to know if it's the entire religion or not? The last time I checked, America invaded Iraq twice and Afghanistan once in the last 20 years. According to some sources the Americans trained and funded Osama Bin Laden. Oddly enough it seems most Americans are against the wars in the middle east ... I have this odd image of Rehan the shop owner standing around in Afghanistan saying, 'it's not just one American, the whole country is crazy. I mean if they didn't want to go to war, why didn't they stop George Bush? They're crazy!'

Other than that I doubt there has been any recent advances in the field of street based racial hooliganism that would ever make me think that 'white stralians' rising up against the tyranny would be the smartest or safest thing ever.

I have no idea why anyone would ever think that following up one example of street based thuggery with another example is a great idea.

As for treating them like the Nazis in world war II ... if you're American that means ignoring them until they invade France. Awesome! Lets do that!

I'm not just trying to joke around, I simply haven't heard a single logical solution in this thread to what is being proposed.

Oh well that would be bad.. very bad. He would need to be beheaded. I call for legalization of curbside beheadings to promote peace... and new jobs formed for beheaded head sidewalk cleaners and little head size wheelbarrel pushers. Professional sign makers and shouters and piss'n'moaners. Professional ones like the mourners you used to could buy when the guy youre burying sucked and no one mourned him so ya had to pay for mourners.... There's always a way to make a buck and allow the natural course of hatred to burn itself out for a time.

On a side note, one of my daughters friends who is Army was called up day before yesterday to go to Australia to aid in the potential riots.. WTF? Handle your own beheaders, we're too busy bombing and killing folks into democracy to bother with your beheading party dammit.
