Ok, the title of the thread is a quote from the film "Remo", yet the idea is the basis.

but there are requirements for this thread:

1: Suspension of disbelief.
2. Acknowledgement of the possibility of a soul.

Here´s the idea;

what if, in order to complete the life cycle required, and to pass on,
you would actually have to die in the same spot that you were born?
Let´s play with the idea, a "dimensional portal" was created when you were born,
and that portal has stayed open and expects you to exit the same way in
order to successfully pass on.
Dying in any other spot WILL NOT create this portal and you´ll end up as "meh..."

Now i know this idea will upset some people because
the idea that most of your friends and loved ones...

This is a thought i have gone over countless times, so my answer to this will be simple;
i know where i was born, and i´ll try to die there.

But what if your SOUL was not from here?

If we can only go out the way we came in.....we are all screwed.

What are the chances that you will die in exactly the same spot you were born?

Very, very microscopically small.

I'd like to think that souls are not bound to any one place, including the body in which it inhabits. Once released, it can flow to wherever it desires.

I'm not sure the Woman giving birth at the time would appreciate me dieing there, but it is an interesting theory.

I can however see this being related to planetary if not star system location due to the spirits interacting with the energy signatures from their body growth locations.. So if your from the Milky Way you remain or leave from that zone but that is my 2 cents.

That´s the idea, that the SOUL is NOT from here, and so much has been spoken about the soul
and about it "returning", but what if things just isn´t that simple?

I dont think it is that simple. I think it first requires a soul to realize its been incarnated into a body of some sort and then that souls recognizing its ORIGINS while at the same time being within a body/environment suit.. And from that point on the soul locates. But from observations many souls seem to be in a suspended sleep like state so they can be manually located and recaptured into new soul materials. I do see your point though.

What if the planet counts as the portal?
Then it would eliminate the need to be in the exact same location on Earth. Who says place has to be such a narrow definition?

Well that would pretty much negate the whole point of my thread, wouldn´t it?
Many of the major religions and a lot of people´s personal beliefs rely on that concept you presented.

Actually the thread topic is right on target.

You occupy a body to use in this physical dimension, and you exit the body when you leave this physical dimension. We call that birth and death. Its the same thing really. Two sides of the same coin.

Some people say that living is dying everyday...

Interesting concept. But what if all it takes is recognizing that you can go anywhere you like on this world but in actual fact you have never moved at all. You were always here and what determines what happens after a cycle is your level of awareness of here. At the beginning of the cycle you were the most aware of here and as sensual impressions made their way into your consciousness you became more and more confused about here believing it to be anywhere or everywhere else but with you.
