Hard to swallow the truth isn't it.

Back in the early days, men took their families where the jobs were.
If you are able bodied then there is plenty of work available in the Bakken. Williston, North Dakota for example.
If you can drive a truck they need you. Construction jobs all over. etc...
These are high paying jobs.
..."but I don't want to move to North Dakota"......That is perfectly reasonable position to have....but that doesn't change the fact that there is work out there and that pays well, you just have to decide where that fits on your priority list.
I hope no one misconstrues what I am saying as being judgmental of anyone or their priorities. I am simply saying that there are many and good paying jobs in the Bakken and will be for quite awhile.
Two southeast companies that make U.S. military uniforms are shedding hundreds of jobs, as the government looks to federal inmates for the fatigues.
American Power Source makes military clothing in Fayette, Ala., but its government contract expires in October. Federal Prison Industries – which also operates under the name UNICOR will snag the work, and leave the task to inmates. FPI has the first right of refusal for U.S. Government contracts, under a 1930 federal law.

For the record, I'm not a drama queen and again save the sympathy for those who need it
I don't know what to do. But you can bet all your money I'm not going to lay down for any of it. Can't say anything definitive, but my days posting at the very least may be numbered.
Striking back is all I can see

The so called Elites will be hard hit very soon. As of January 2013 we will have a new wave of unemployed; the boss who fired you in 2012 or in 2011 will be next!
The very last will be the super rich, that means today's millionaires. They'll be telling us their sad story here on ATS very soon. They'll start going down in 2015/2016 and beyond!
Trust me, I know what I am talking about, I have 35 years experience as technical analyst, employed by big brokerage firms. Now bugged off in the jungle of Philippines.
I know what's going on, the boat is sinking and the authorities keep their mouth tightly shut.
The herd will find out the truth too late.
Your words though are quite concerning and need further examination. I have quoted a few of your lines just to jog your memory but I hope you do not own any firearms because the world knows how americans deal with their ruined lives, they KILL innocent people willy nilly.
Chin up, you could get cancer tomorrow meaning today would seem like a god damn party compared. edit on 19-9-2012 by Six6Six because: (no reason given)

Oy vey, What can I say. I, who have made it a point in my life and my way, to listen to a woman's intuition, was caught a bit off guard on this one. That's the only excuse I can muster. Alright, you get one I told you so .
Lets see what happens as I put Texas No 1 on my list. We may be getting closer to that little dance.edit on 19-9-2012 by randyvs because: (no reason given)

So they got her for stealing time? Clocking in early when she wasn't at work. I can see her obtaining unemployment benefits, as this could easily be classified as a mistake and not an intentional theft of time. Challenge unemployment, if she was not paid for the extra half hour, then she was not at work. California law is very clear that an employer must pay you for all time you worked. If they didn't pay her, she wasn't at work. They can't fire her. They technically would have to have paid her the 30 minutes for their to be a legitimate issue.

Just looking to raise awareness to what I SEE COMING. A world I want no part of. But I'm still here.
We both understand where our lives are going now, and we have made peace with it. Money is not everything. When we die, there certainly will not be a Uhaul following us to our place of burial. You can't take it with you.
