The far (dark) side is exposed to us when it's a new Moon. The dark side appears dark to us that's why we STILL can't see it.

The Moon rotates but it's timed in a tidal lock so it's rotating at the same speed as it's orbiting us.

The Youtube poster has a ton of videos with the same little white specs. Isn't that enough to call it?

There is no reason to post these anymore.

All of these videos, no matter how many real/fake ones are posted are always going to be debunked to be "particle effect" or "ice particles in space" or "camera bug". There is really no real explanation..

You should all know by now that most threads posted by Human_Alien are of poor quality. Usually consisting of YouTube, or some personal blog as a source of credibility. I wouldn't chalk them up to be much.

looks like birds to me too but what kind of birds can live in the moon?

if it's fake it's a good one.

I suppose the only defense to hold beliefs intact is that it is fake.

I see something coming out of or from the moons surface, moving very fast and giving of light.
it looks authentic, i have heard people use the argument that you'd think astronomers would of caught something by now, is this it?

I have no idea, is it fake because it IS fake or is it fake because there is no other answer to what it is and therefore people might have to either accept or admit there is something more to it.

I am unsure which it is.

If you are used to working with After Effects or Maya and are used to some standard particle effects, yes it's easy to look at these and say that. I could point to many issues with the video (for example, the zoom renders the terminator of the mood a bit blurry but the "crafts" are sharp) but after about 3 seconds of seeing the motion I can tell it's cgi. It's annoying and there might be legit videos out there, but most of what's on YouTube is manufactured. If you were used to working with these applications you'd probably conclude the same.

These are clearly birds--if you look close you can easily see their wings flapping. Kind of strange since there is no atmosphere around the moon. Does the term hoax ring a bell?

Particle effects in either Motion or After Effects.

The OP of the closed thread made a very useful post how such UFOs can be made with Adobe After Effect, Ofc that doesn't mean there arent real objects flying around the Earth or the Moon but those are rather space junk than UFOs.. while these like in the video are SFX...

The ONLY sane way to go about this and to do research if you say:

* It can be faked easily, therefore it should be considered fake, hoax, etc.

Yes, there will always be the ones who will reply: "Yes, it could be faked, but couldn't it be legit as well?"-
But this is a philosophy which won't get you far, you will only end up with 1000s of 1000s of videos/cases which "could be faked" or "might possible be legit"..and you will likely NEVER find out whether it's a legit video or not, instead having wasted a lot of time and ignoring the REAL good cases in the process.

A "good" case or footage is where there is NO rational explanation, where there is no easy explanation or possible way to fake or CGI it. ONLY THEN you can quickly and easily eliminate the 99% of hoaxes etc. and look at the 1% remaining which are really worth investigating.

As a rule...if it can be faked, looks fake..it is very, very likely fake.

Same goes for UFO videos or ghost videos etc...i cannot take a ghost video seriously where all it would take is a piece of string to move an object and them film it - DESPITE someone claiming that the object is moved "by a ghost"..even if it would be extremely, extremely simple to make the same video using a simple piece of string.

If we want EVIDENCE or PROOF...we need to look at the video and tell ourselves what real evidence is actual on the video?

A moving piece of furniture is NOT proof for a ghost, it is a piece of moving furniture, nothing more.
A light in the sky is NOT proof for an UFO, it's only a light in the sky.

And so forth and so forth. And especially in an age where everyone with a PC can fake really good videos of all sorts, we have to raise standards and be more critical. As easy as that.

Does anyone know the general area that we can look at in google maps moon?

the moon does rotate but it takes an entire lunar cycle(28 days) to do so- the same side faces us all the time- there is no "dark side of the moon" but there is a far side that we can only see when we send orbiting lunar satellites there-- I am an amateur astronomer and I assure you- we always see the same face of the moon...so who knows what lurks on the farside...

a new moon simply is when the face that faces us is not lit from the sun- the far side is always the far side and never visible to earth- one side faces us all the time- it is true- however there is no "dark Side" the whole moon gets sunlight- however only one side faces us- you should stop correcting people who are right and read some astronomy texts...

Ya, all the chemtrail threads are hoaxes.............why do you come to a conspiracy site if you don't want to hear about conspiracies? By definition most conspiracies are difficult or impossible to prove or disprove............thus ATS. Maybe you should be punished for insignificant posts?

From where did this "original footage" originate?
How are we to know this is legitimate?
What is the source?
How do we know this isn't just CGI, which could have done this in one day?
