The collapse of the petrodollar will bring inflation at an unimaginable level because it's not just about the dollar losing value relative to other currencies: without the petrodollar system, there is no reason for the oil importers (i.e., most nations) to hold vast reserves of dollars...never mind to take on new dollars. Dollar holders will seek to return their dollars for tangible goods, and they will seek to do it faster than everyone else, because they will know that the longer they wait the more worthless their holdings become. The result will be the proverbial stampede for the exit as everyone tries to dump their dollars back into the US at once. The US already has the printing presses running full steam with infinite quantitative sleazing, but a petrodollar collapse would be...just beyond.

When you grasp this you understand why they will do whatever it takes to support the petrodollar. Up to and including WWIII.

how does it not make more sense to declare a bank holiday, and transition into a new currency which is backed.by agreeable assets within the US??

When you live on a planet controlled by psychopaths (and this is true for every nation NOT just America...the nature of human competition is that psychopaths rise to the top), it's not about what makes sense it's about what benefits the status quo.

Also...Organizing everyone involved for that kind of switchover would demand an unprecedented level of cooperation and sacrifice for the greater good. It's impossible for people to agree with each other about the sacrifices involved.

I think it was something to do with legal issues with his wife trying to get American citizenship....also he didn't want to live in America because he sees the rights of Americans being destroyed, and how American foreign policy has created a lot of troubles it is facing today.

But yes, I can see World War Three coming, and soon.

With everything that is going on, you are not able to tell the Good Guys from the Bad Guys anymore......are there any good guys out there anymore?

As long as there is half the adult population in this country on the government dole, you will never be able to create a revolution of any kind, why you say, because now the government has 60+ million brown shirts that will not allow anyone to take what they fell is there way of life. Sure they are mostly nothing but cannon fodder but 60+ million strong......................well maybe 57+ million, you won't get some off the couch............even if it did mean loosing there free ride.

However, I do believe china and Japan will be busy for awhile dealing with Japan 'stealing' their islands, etc. Good timing.

Good video. The things mentioned in the video have been discussed on ATS for years.

Personally, I can't see how we can avoid WW3. One of the important moves that makes WW3 more inevitable than not was the move in the United States to a "volunteer" military. Essentially it means that the US military consists of employees whose income is earned by fighting. You can dress it up any way you want and "thank them for their service" as much as you want, but basically the US military are professional killers who earn their income that way.

That means that in the United States war is somebody else's business and no cause for social unrest among the population as a whole.

In that way Americans have taken the hand off the steering wheel of foreign policy and said to the real string pullers, "You can do what you want. We are not interested. We only care about our own comfort and ease."

In Nazi Germany the military wanted to remove the principle war monger from the scene but waffled endlessly over it and failed to act decisively.

Similarly, there will be no mutiny in the US military to alter the course of US foreign policy.

Revolution, if it comes, will come, as it did in the two major revolutions of the 20th century, Russia and China, in the aftermath of war. So batten down the hatches. Move to Australia. Make peace with your maker.

Read The Proud Tower by Barbara Tuchman about the lead up to WW1, which shows the amazing parallels with our own time.

I can't see anything that will alter the course to WW3. People are too greedy and too stupid and too spiritually impoverished. It is a shame but we have nobody but ourselves to blame for the situation.

As long as they get their free ride , they don't care if they bleed the system to death, so they'll stay on the couch or porch eating McDonald's and breeding like rabbits until its all gone then migrate somewhere else to find the leafy green foliage and stuff themselves there until its gone too.

I.e., My friends are more concerned with the Kardashiens and Kate Middleton to pay attention to what's really important, I fear the same trends across this country, a pop culture that takes everything for granted.
The only thing that will wake this country the # up is actually ww3. Until then, the majority of our American youth a$$clowns only care about is music, texting, looking at pop and looking hot.
