Yeah, I really don't know that we have a choice as this develops. If it were one nation attacking our Embassy, the very thought of just leaving would
be out of the question in my mind. Weakness on steroids and neon signage. This is a whole block of countries that are all recently changed to a new
direction of ..development...to try and keep this all as on topic and out of other topics as possible.
I think they're making it clear....quickly...that new direction isn't one they want the U.S. living in the middle of, inside their new..whatever
it's becoming there.
As much as it pains me....I think leaving temporarily beats the hell out of a couple over-run Embassy compounds. Has the State Department even
evacuated dependents out of the Embassies in all these various nations seeing issues? I know some are hardship posts and never had dependents, like
Yemen...but I think I'd seen 7 as the number the State Department was dramatically raising security on. (??)
