I am against any drones in American Skies but the Drone Attacks in Pakistan have done an Incredible Job as far as not only Killing our Enemies but making it seem that the U.S. is always watching that Terrorist Groups of all names are finding it very hard to recruit.
WHY do we need 20k, In the skies of America?
Seriously, WHY? What purpose?
Something is a miss.

Documents obtained under Freedom of Information laws show that show that more than 50 non-military organisations have asked to fly drone aircraft, many of which can carry cameras and surveillance equipment for spying within the US.
A spokesman for the North Little Rock Police Department told the Wall Street Journal that it was only using its unmanned helicopter for training over unpopulated areas but hoped to eventually fly it above crime-ridden neighbourhoods and use it to gather intelligence for major drug cases.
In one of the few examples of an application being rejected, the FAA refused to sign off on a request by campus police at the Georgia Institute of Technology, a force tasked with protecting and keeping order among the university's 20,000 students.
In response to the revelation both Democrats and Republicans in Congress last week wrote to the FAA demanding that it take into account privacy concerns before approving deployments.

Department of Homeland Security needs something to pass the time I guess
Fact of the matter is this. Its TOO much power. I also wonder when someone will be brought down, in America, with a drone?
U.S. drone strike has hit a house owned by a senior member of al-Qaida, killing five suspected militants.
A US drone fired two missiles at a house suspected of being a militant hideout in the village of Tapi 15 kilometres east of in Miranshah in North Waziristan Agency of FATA, killing 10 suspected militants.
At least five militants were killed when US drone fired two missiles on a house and a vehicle at Mohammad Khel and Degan village in Dattakhel area of North Waziristan Agency in FATA.
At least 10 persons were killed while one was injured when US drone attacked a house in Darr-e-Nishtar area of North Waziristan Agency in FATA.

Starred and flagged, my friend. You speak the truth, unlike the Commander in Chief. I would just change one word in your title, namely to remove the word "Almost". This President truly despises the American way of life, and has been doing everything he can to change it into a third world socialist state, with no middle class, and no businesses not controlled nor run by the government. Looking at the actions such as the drones over our sacred land, the NDAA act, the attacks on virtually every one of the Bill of Rights, and his attacks on religious freedom, and abandonment of our allies, I don't see how ANYONE can vote for this clown. Then again, given the way that the MSM is in the tank for him, many people only get one side of the story. If 10 years ago, someone would tell me that thousands of drones would be flying over American soil, spying on Americans, I would have called them crazy. We live in sad times, my friend.
The agency projects that 30,000 drones could be in the nation’s skies by 2020.

Why do I have a really bad feeling that the recruiting has either moved deeper underground? And besides, are we going to do this indefinitely?
Getting rid of the leaders at the top right now doesn't kill the animosity towards a nation. It just puts the activity on hold.

You forgot to include 'muslim' in that title. That would be the clincher on the band-width, I think.
