Disable "Most-Flagged" ?

Is there a way to disable the new "most-flagged" feature so that those threads don't appear at the top of every forum?

I've been wondering the same thing. I have to scroll past all of the posts in bold typeface (because seriously, I've been reading those threads for the number of days it took for them to be named "most flagged"), then past the "X" posts which I think are stickys, and finally, on to the actual posts I'm interested in looking through.

Not to be all "generation moron" not wanting to scroll and such, but really, what is the purpose?

The purpose is to showcase threads that discuss issues ATS members as a whole find important.

I dont see any reason to change it other that to take people's attention away from important issues.

And it's hardly as if scrolling is a lot of effort.

People are getting increasingly lazy and picky.

Seems like they really don't want to tell us how to get rid of this. And unfortunately, it looks like nobody's come up with a userscript to fix it either. This is getting annoying.
