Thanks for sharing. I didn't say anything to the contrary. He has the right, it was just a very dumb thing to do.

You just don't like it when it's the truth and it happens on Obama's watch.

"When the truth happens"?
Uh, ok. I'm pretty sure "the truth happens" all the time, but OK.

It does political damage to Obama.

Is that why his numbers are rising in the polls? "Political damage"?

Do you want Romney to keep quiet until the end of November?

No, I want him to have diarrhea of the mouth. Every time he opens his mouth, he says something stupid, guaranteeing a win for the President. So, I want him to SING!

Your plan isn't working.

Rasmussen September 13, 2012

Romney 47%

Obama 46%

Embassy attacks are hurting Obama.

Hillary looks like a complete fool for signing a waiver to give Muslim Brotherhood $1.5 Billion.

President Mitt Romney just finished his press conference with MSM and looked very

presidential. MSM attack was expected and handled very easily.

The world needs leadership.

Welcome to the White House President Romney and Vice President Paul Ryan.

Sorry, but Obama left you a big mess to clean up.

From what I understand of this situation, the embassy released the statement on it's own. They do not call Obama on the BatPhone every time they release a public statement. Also, it looks as though this statement was released before the attacks began.

What we have to realize is that if Romney is supposed to be the guy that replaces Obama, his response to things like this are very important.

Imagine how much respect he would have earned if Romney would of instead said: "I decline to comment until more information is available and we pray for those involved in such a troubling situation".

See how that works? Romney could have saved himself a whole bunch of trouble and bad press if he was more willing to be patient and give the appearance of being calm, collected and concerned about the welfare of American diplomats.

Regardless of whom is right or wrong, Romney opened himself up to this criticism and it makes him look like a desperate candidate that will exploit any situation for political gain.

The exact phrase I heard on the radio about how Romney handled this situation was Romney likes to shoot first and aim later. That is not what I call presidential and certainly does not earn my trust. He tried to use this for political gain and it has backfired on him. There is no way I will vote for him he is completely two faced.

Backfired?

Only in the minds of the MSM.

And I think that phrase fits...I think it is the reason behind what many call his 'flip-flopping.'
When you speak in haste and then have time to think on it later...well, hindsight isn't declared as 20/20 for nothing!

I am beginning to suspect that Romney's campaign managers are growing impatient for the voter polls to swing decisively toward Romney...or perversely enough and I hope this is just a bad joke...to swing either way, just decisively!

They seem to be coming up with these ill-advised ways to hopefully show what a good POTUS Romney would be as their platform is rather flimsy and even the economic prowess they were boasting on is beginning to show some reason for doubt.

There is a poll for visitors at Washington Post, I think it is, that covers the issues one by one, and Romney seems to be only showing a significant lead in the economic poll. And while the media keeps telling us that people are too concerned about the economy to worry about the myriad other issues relative to this election...I don't really think that is an accurate assumption.

I think many of us realize that the economy, in many ways, is an indicator of the other issues of the present time, such as war and foreign relations and even issues such as same-sex marriage and college education, etc.

Polls don’t really sway me especially knee jerk reaction polls. Ultimately this will hurt Romney when people hear all the facts. I don’t even know where your poll comes from, not that it really matters. If you think this will decide the election you are deluded. I have almost always voted republican but I see Romney for what he is and most of America does as well.

His entire campaign has been about criticism for Obama and not about what he would do better he has flip-flopped on almost every issue and has brought the RNC to all new lows. The treatment of Ron Paul and his supporters has been absolutely shameful. Romney bought his position he did not earn it. I have never seen a primary so dirty. I wasn’t even a Ron Paul supporter I just respected the man and I cannot say the same for Romney. With the rule changes and the obvious fraud I think the RNC has essentially destroyed itself and hopefully a third party will rise up and take its place. The RNC is no longer representative of anyone except the wealthy anymore, they have forgotten who supposed to represent that is why you have to be ultra-wealthy to represent them. It is insane.

The RNC took the slogan anybody but Obama way to far because I say anybody but Romney would have had a chance. Romney is so far from what I would consider presidential material it has made me wonder if the RNC is purposely throwing the election to keep from having to make the tough choices.

I have no doubt that Obama will win a second term and even though I didn’t vote for him last time I will this time. So make jokes and laugh all you want come election time you will not be a happy camper of that I am sure.

So the President is such a failure he has no clue what is going on in US embassies for 16 hours when an attack is imminent? To answer your question, yes, I think every embassy has a phone that they can use to get in touch with the White House, you don't?

It's usually the price of gas and strength of the economy that sway the independent

voters. Have you noticed World War 3 has begun?

Geopolitical events are forcing up the price of gas.

The last Jobs Report was terrible.

Go ahead and add all that up.

No, he never likes to tell the whole story. His posts are full of polls from only Rasmussen, which has ALWAYS been republican biased, common knowlege. He doesn't ever show other polls, only the one that agrees with his scewed view.

Ignore Rasmussen at your own peril.

Since when is a poll dangerous? Do you vote according to polls? I certainly do not and do not know anyone who does you would be the first that I have heard of.

Maybe you have forgotten but the original 9/11 happened on Bushes watch where there was a complete breakdown of intelligence that could have prevented it and the man still gets re-elected and this one poll is supposed to be detrimental somehow to Obamas re-election? You are living in a dream world.

What kind of statement is “Ignore Rasmussen at your own peril” anyway? That has to be the most hollow warning/threat or whatever you want to call it I have ever read.

Rasmussen doesn't stack their polls with democrats.

When November 1st arrives you will see the other polls crawl over to the Rasmussen

numbers to gain credibility.

It happens with every election.

Exactly how did Romney Screw up? Seriously.

He showed a HUGE error in judgment, by sticking his nose into a situation about which he knew nothing. (He doesn't yet get security briefings)

Apparently Obama no longer receives briefing either... and he has the clearance AND the DUTY!!!

Obama attends Security Briefings less than 50% of the time!

A convenient ommission, by the way...

Look, the only thing being distorted, or should I say "ignored," here is the blatant incompetency being displayed by both Romney and his group of hand picked advisors, not to mention the RNC.

Everything from stating "of course corporations are people," to the selection of Paul Ryan, to the orchestration of what will probably go down as the biggest flop of a party convention in American history. A convention where speakers talked to empty chairs, where Ron Paul delegate votes were ignored by the chair and one where the party nominee failed to mention the ongoing war in Afghanistan or the troops in harms way. Not to mention his recent statements regarding the embassy attacks.

If anything has been clearly demonstrated by the Romney campaign and the RNC, it would be pure incompetence from the top of the ticket to the bottom of the stub.

Just remember that if elected to POTUS, you can fully expect that Romney will surround himself with the same team of incompetent advisors and staff that he is currently utilizing to run his campaign, backed by the same RNC that just showed their ass at convention.

But the problem is much bigger than Romney, it's the RNC and the GOP in totality! Any political party that would endorse the selection of someone as stupid as Sarah Palin for it's V.P. nominee, has clearly demonstrated that America's best interest is not their primary concern and based on the continued incompetence we're seeing in the Romney campaign, it's more than apparent that they have yet to abandon that modus operandi.

You want pure unadulterated incompetence? The GOP has just what you're looking for and they're proving it every day.
