Jaziah is some sort of tax that an islamic government would get from minorities to protect them because they did not have to defend or something else. however nowadays it has lost it's usage. and they are other kind of taxes like Zakat for muslims in an islamic government.

I strongly advice all of you with doubt about Gadaffi to try search on youtube "Pro-gadaffi demonstrations 2012". Then try search "anti-gadaffi demonstrations 2012". See wich has the bigger crowd, from what i saw. The former had the biggest crowds!

I believe they are sincere and loved seeing this,but they need to dig the extremists out of their society. We all want peace but with the extremists calling for death to America peace will never come.

Where do you think Muhammad got most of his information anyway? It was from the Bible. He didn't have anything original to say. He took what he knew from the Bible and twisted it.

I'm so glad that you posted this! I do know some really good Muslims. My family doctor is from Iraq and he is Muslim. He is married to a Christian. They are a lovely older couple. My doctor is a good man. He likes that I get his dry humor. He likes that when he and his staff help me that I show appreciation by bringing pastries and food for them to eat, because he often works through lunch. He very rarely takes a Holiday. I am a quarter Jew by race and I am a Christian by religion. I absolutely adore my doctor and appreciate that he has beliefs and a personality that make him a caring person.

I have also had Muslim friends that have told me that I'm more similar to them and that they appreciate that I just listen and show respect. I ask before shaking their hand, "may I shake your hand" and ask if there are any cultural things I can avoid to show respect, such as eye contact.

I do not hold a religion or a race as responsible for any of the current behavior. I believe there are crazy people in every culture and religion that will use it as an excuse to do vile things.

Anyway, thank you for this thoughtful post. Lovely pictures! -the News Media should be showing these pictures instead of focusing on causing fear for tv sensationalism to increase their viewers and ratings.

I think both sides are being used for a larger agenda. Americans tolerate all religions. That is the core of who we are and what America is about. Whatever happens i hope the Muslim world can find the truth of that fact. Americans can not stop despicable acts anymore than Muslims can. It comes down to individuals. There are good and there are bad,. We do not like to see anyone hurt, physically or mentally.

It was a well known theology and the Arabs were familiar with it. Amazingly, today Muslims criticize as polytheists, the very one's who taught Muhammad about monotheism! By the time Muhammad came along, the pagan Arabs were ripe for conversion to Monotheism because of the preaching of Christians.

the problem I have seen in the media, and interviews the head of the muslim uk council has stated on television many times over, is that the muslim community in england at least, does nothing to distance themselves from attacks / terrorism that is done in the name of Islam.

They sit on the fence that much, they must have splinters in their arse!

I do believe that Islam has been demonised by the west, I am not a sheeple,. however, the muslim community in large does not seem to do enough distancing of themselves from such heinous acts, when they are claimed in the name of Islam.

The showing in Libya, is exactly what the Muslim community should do when such acts are carried out, as they dont, Uneducated asleep sheeples see this as guilt. Sad but true,...

The HUGE majority of muslims didn't even left their homes to participate in any protests, even the peaceful ones.

A "handfull of muslims" are those who participated on violent protests. I guess the rallies of the teachers of Chicago on strike had more people than 95% of the rallies against this movie in the Muslim world...

Jesus is not like Moses and Jesus is not from Israelites brothers but it is from them so who is that prophet that is like Moses and from Israelites brother (Ishmael) !?
