Why does everyone say that Ahmadinejad is crazy? Have any of you ever listened to one of his speeches? He is a great man. He would also have access to more information than any of you.

Weather modification is something governments have been working on for decades. Is it really so out of the question for the US to do this if they had the power? The US Government hates its own people btw incase you missed that. You really think they wouldnt mess with US weather as well if they could? Its obvious US politicians are destroying the US economy so that you are all low paid slaves.

A million 'Chemtrail' threads but Ahmadinejad cant make the claim that Iran weather is being messed with without it being crazy. And again, why is he crazy? Compare one of his speeches to any made by any moron US politician in recent times. Ahmadinejad is one of the best leaders today. And Ahmadinejad is the head of NAM. Iran is not isolted. They have far more friends than the US. And weather modification is possible. If the US could do it, they would.

Is he crazy? probably, but what world leader really isn't. Is the idea of weather modification for military, strategic, economic reason crazy? You would be if you didn't ponder this technology. It's been in use since the 60's possibly late WW2. Spraying the jungle in Vietnam to deny the enemy concealment and key terrain, now think for a second if the army on one side had to ability to create a front of fog, heavy downpours and so on. This would be battle planners dream come true, I would bet good money this potential technology is at the forefront of R&D.

The German military has a system where they spray an area with aluminum confusing radar, the Russians have spoke publicly on numerous occasions where they have the ability to reduce snow, which would result in saving money on snow removal services amongst other things.

The potential for such technology can also be used for good reasons. If a modern nation, or even a less fortunate nation that is experiencing drought can be relieved with such an idea it would be beneficial for everyone, not only that it could lead to breakthroughs with terraforming parts of our planet and other planets. Weather Warfare might even become the new thing, all the potential of a nuclear device without the fallout. The possibilities are massive and the rewards attractive, the only issue is wait type of repercussions await trying to harness the power of nature.

this theory doesn't explain why America also experienced drought in many places this summer. if we'd stolen something...surely we'd have used it.

Let's just pretend this technology exists for just a minute. If this technology existed who's to say that the owners of this tech would not use it on it's own people. Many nation's governments have done horrible tests on their own civilian population including but not limited to the United States.

So maybe, just maybe, the Mississippi going dry was one of these experiments. I'm not saying this is the case I'm just throwing out the possibility to show that it is not too far fetched that a government would use technology worthy for use on their enemies on their own civilian population as well.

I would be willing to believe the technology exists. the Chinese enjoy making it snow in Beijing from what I've read.

www.nowpublic.com...

I don't accept that anyone would do such things to their own people if they possessed this technology. perhaps you know of someone who would, but I don't know of any such people and don't believe that such monsters exists.

but, I do think if such a machine did exist that the rain would still have to occur somewhere...and if they can stop it in one place why can't they start it up somewhere else at will?

if it does exists...it seems to risky to use it as the technology has not been perfected.

Iran is going to end up eating dirt because their leadership is incompetent; it won't be the first time.

They stole our rain! They stole Irans rain! They stole Italy's rain!
Thanks tothetenthpower, you have solved the crime.

Someone should quickly email a link of this information to Ahmadinejad
before he goes all wonky and starts another world war by claiming the USA
stole it when in fact it was his buddies at the UAE!

Oh noes! The USA should team up with Iran to invade the evil, fascist, water-grubbing forces of the UAE take our water back!

On a more serious note, I do find this interesting. This wouldn't be the first time that dictatorships used the boogyman of the "Evil West" to distract their subjects or divert their anger into a more...acceptable line of thought.

What pisses me off is we think it's possible to manipulate the weather but no one knows for sure and why is that?

We are giving our Governments the money to experiment, and then they figure out how to do stuff like manipulate the weather, but when exactly do we get to benefit from it since we payed for it?

The answer: We don't. Probably like so many other technologies.

I don't think Ahmadinejad is crazy. Well crazy like a fox maybe but he has reasonable intelligence and he's probably right about the weather manipulation. If Tesla was talking this a 100 years ago then there is no telling what they can do now.

How long do you think it will be before a US citizen can be locked up for sedition because they publicly spoke out against government corruption? In the opinion of some this has already happened. And what about the WMD boogeyman that allowed the US to invade Iraq? Sorry, but our US government is not an example of high morality.

Given that you had a sedition act from 1798 another that would be nothing more than returning to the values of the founding fathers!

I agree, as I mentioned he is quite the debater and would slaughter any world politician in a debate on any issue with facts to back it up. His country's domestic affairs are not the best but people tend to forget he is just a figurehead just like Obama or any other "president" or "prime minister".

Did you see him destroy Larry King? If not here is a clip.

It's a long view but worth the watch. Even as much as they tried to edit it to make him look bad, Mahmoud still came out on top. You can see Larry King almost crap his pants and yell "commercial break now!"

I suspect Ahmedinejad has been spending too much time here on ATS...

You are correct but you forgot to mention that the U.S.A. is also in a drought.
So yes the mad man from Iran is wrong but I bet that no one there will tell him that.

Ahmadinejad accuses the West of 'stealing Iran's rain' AGAIN

www.dailymail.co.uk

Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has accused the West of deliberately destroying rain clouds headed for Iran as part of efforts to plunge the country into drought.

The Iranian president's latest outburst came as he made a speech addressing the problems caused by low rainfall trends, which experts say are threatening Iran's agriculture.

'Today our country is moving towards drought, which is partly unintentional due to industry and partly intentional, as a result of the enemy destroying the clouds moving ...

I don't think that I indicated that the US government has a high level of morality. I'm merely pointing out that dictatorships like to use the West as a boogyman. I'm sure people in the US government are not above using the dictatorships as boogymen (North Korea, Iran, etc.) It seems to be a mutually beneficial relationship.

oh i dunno...maybe because more than a couple of countries have the tech....

nah, that's too complicated!

can't be....because it makes my head hurt

so one keeps tye clouds from naturally forming, and another artifically creates them in defense.

and the quest for "progress " continues on...
