Was this a separately planned incident or did what happened at the US Consulate in Cairo spark cause for what's happening in Benghazi? Will more follow?

Whether you like a country's presence in your own or not, having an open embassy is necessary for so many reasons, one being the safety of their citizens.

Not really surprising. We only bombed Libya, killing civilians in the process. That is human mothers, brothers, children, fathers, etc. The rebels that we backed were also Islamist.
