If you could fool him, that requires that he exists, which would mean all of the deceptive talents at his disposal would also be very real. And the only man I have ever read about that outwitted the devil is Daniel Webster, the fictional lawyer.

And I'm not even sure about that. See, I've heard tell that all lawyers sell their souls to the devil for tongues of silver...

Would I sacrifice myself if it would save the WHOLE world and all of its people? Yes, absolutely. But because of that, hell would probably be the last place my soul goes.

That's a huge waste of a sacrifice.

You can't sell your soul to the Devil. It is not as if the evil one is able to actually collect souls or something. In the end, everyone experiences the presence and love of God- the light of the world. It's how one experiences that state that is paradise or eternal torment- and it depends on how one chooses to be predisposed toward God in this life. The light of heaven and the lake of fire are the same thing. Hell is a scourge of love. (And that, folks, is a very Orthodox Christian view of the hell/heaven thing.)

However, if a scenario comes up where other people's lives can be spared if you sacrifice your own- then I would. Or, I'd like to say that I would. It's easy to say you'll do something if you're not confronted with that scenario.

Depends on your definition of "Save". Spiritually as in Souls? Physically as in no one ever goes hungry again?
Man kind gets to find peace at last, no more war? Everyone is treated equally, no more bigotry or racial hatred?
The list could get long, but in short, yes to all the above.
But, to be fair, I'm an Atheist, so I don't believe in either God or Satan.

Not willing to do.
However I can save my soul by selling this fake world.

Anyway. What the most conceive about Satan word, goes to nonsense as IT cannot save the world.

I think you are right, because you would have performed the ultimate sacrifce for humanity, however I would guess that you would have to spend a 'time' there before you ascend...
