If you could go undercover to expose any conspiracy theory, what would it be?

I suspect that almost all of the conspiracy theories are linked by the people involved and the larger purpose. If you expose just one, the rest will ultimately be revealed.

Since conspiracy theories have a common theme of information/truth supression, I think a good launching point would be getting behinds the scenes of the upper echelon of any major secret society. This would undoubtedly take us on a trip through history with some element of superior knowledge (and the power/control that supressing it from the rest of us achieves) being at the root of it all.

I can't shake the feeling that a small group of 'privileged' individuals are running the show for the rest of us and that they are the head of the snake that needs to be cut off. I would like to think that by risking going undercover and exposing the truth, that I would be able to liberate the masses from the few.

I pick those 4 because you blow them wide open and it would turn people's perspective on the commercial, religious and political systems upside down at least in North America.

Too many conspiracy theorists get lost in the sauce of conspiracies

People chose Roswell, Area 51, Aliens, Moon Bases, JFK, Reptilians etc.....

Meanwhile our economy is crumbling, families will be left on the streets, war left and right, food pricing will skyrocket....

But meh.... let's find out about sci-fi stuff!

I would probably would have to say I would look into the 9/11 conspiracy. If it turns out it was an inside job, then that opens the flood gated to alot more corruption, and conspiracies.

Not so much of a conspiracy theory, but I would love to have the knowledge for the whereabouts of the so called Holy Grail and also the Arc of the Covenant, that's if they exist of course.......But this has always intrigued me that objects that are so talked about and looked upon in religious belief and history that their whereabouts are unknown........really???????......

Yeah, I understand that bit about the bloodline etc, but the actual cup/chalice/grail is something I am sure is somewhere, somebody must have taken it. The same goes for the arc, but would the arc still have the commandments that god was supposed to have written be intact and still encased within. If these such famous artefacts really existed, then they are somewhere hidden that's for sure..

Now I have to reprioritize my entire list. First I picked 9/11, someone else jumps in with the Vatican's private archives, and now you pop up with the Council of Nicaea. And all of them need to be revealed for what they truly are.

Only on ATS will you randomly be asked to choose a conspiracy to reveal, and come back to find over three dozen possibilities...

Makes you wonder how much we really know, and how much we're just taking for granted...

I have a conspiracy theory that is seldom if ever talked about.

The theory is that the UN sanctions which followed the first Gulf War and which went on for ten years, at the insistance of the United States and despite studies that had concluded that they should be terminated after only a year or so, because the havoc they were inflicting was near catastrophic at that point, were actually planned as an offensive weapon of war to kill as many Iraqis as possible and maintained as a result of pressure brought to bear on the United Nations by the United States of America, the genocidal perpetrator in the case.

If this was done it was the brilliant use of an international institution usually seen as an encumbrance by one of the most innovative, amoral and aggressively warlike nations since Nazi Germany.

I wish a whistleblower would leak the position papers from the State Department on this issue. Maybe Hillary Clinton (Lady Ha Ha) will be indiscrete someday.

For me it would be exposing the myth of Jesus of Nazareth.....

Definitely jfk. Itd expose enough about the illuminati to potentially spark revolutions. Id also stay undercover until im several miles into that rabbit hole.....

I would go for something foundational, and discover some of the secrets behind the true history of mankind.

This would involve learning the truth behind the legends of the Golden Age, as well as understanding precisely who built ancient structures like the pyramids and the Sphinx, and exactly how it was done.

I also would want to fully decode the knowledge of the Egyptian Mystery Schools, and find out how much of it was later transmitted to Greek and Roman scholars.

The hidden history of the Olmecs is another fascination of mine. How were those huge stone heads constructed and transported, and who were the persons they depicted?

I would just love to be able to prove once and for all that the governments of the countries involved in all of the above are guilty of carrying out some of the most heinous crimes in history, guilty of murdering their own leaders, their own citizens, guilty of destroying the dreams of a generation and guilty of doing god knows what to our planet and to open people's eyes to this fact.
