Forums across the internet are full of fearful prophecies. Today, I learned in 30 years there will be a space object that will destroy this planet. Last year I heard it was a brown dwarf, then it was a asteroid, and a comet.

If you believe 2012 is the end, make the best of life!

Start being nice, people will respond.

Give your lives some meaning.

I hope you're right.

Although I think toward the end of December many people will do drastic things like committ suicide or shoot the neighbor who has been pissing them off for the past five years.

I read a story a few months ago about some teenage girl who killed herself because she was worried about the doomsday predictions she had been reading on the internet. In fact I think somebody here began a thread on the story. How ironic would it be if the article the girl read was posted on this site.

I'm not going to lose any sleep over it. I just figure if it happens it'll be a hell of a show......if it doesn't happen then we'll get to tease the goobers who believed it would.

I don't know who gains from it, but some people love generating fear by posting these doom garbage. I know the frequency of these quality posts will increase as we get close to december, but I really want people to not give in to fear, and remain objective. Eventually December 21st will come and go, and then you will realize that, that feeling inside that nothing would happen was right, and maybe you should think with reason, and not fear.

All sorts of people "gain" from it, unfortunately.

You have those that sell books on the subject. Hollywood has cashed in on it. YouTubers that generate a lot of traffic with their videos and get paid for it. People claiming to be "in the know" and will gladly sell you "survival kits" online. Online groups who claim to know things, and will share that knowledge with you, for a small registration fee of course.
You even have people who get paid to speak on the subject.

So yes, there are people that gain from spreading fear, disinformation, and take advantage of those who are not well versed in science (especially geology and astronomy).

If the end of this year was to be our last why are our governments not taking steps to make sure some of us survive? Why has NASA not reported on it? Why are people not worried?

If this was our last year on earth the i think we will see it coming from the skies months if not years in advance.

Either nothing will happen or our masters will come back to collect the slaves they created - our human race.

That part is worth checking out. Loyd ends the segment with theories on how man could have come about by being created as a slave race. While I'm not 100% convinced of this, he does give seemingly good evidence based on science of our genes and DNA.

I don't think we will all die in 2012. I see it more as an "end of the world as we know it" that an actual ELE event. People are getting fed up with being controlled, being fed lies, being given glimpses of corrupt hierarchy, being turned into robot slaves.

Hopefully, it is the beginning of that end. But I'm not holding my breath...

Thanks for posting the video, I am very familiar with Llyod Pye and I enjoy his theories. Didn't realize he did a two hour seminar. I read his book, "Everything you Know is Wrong: On Human Origins" and have tried to relay the information to other people. The video sums it up really well.

What a thoughtful thread - thank you for the intellectually positive aspect. I have been seriously interested in all subjects Exopolitical for a few years now. I see it all as information and then there is disinformation. Over the several years I have been reading, researching and synthesising information and disinformation I have come to realise that 2012 and the end date and the calendars and Mayans and everything connected - is a big mind control exercise.

Having awakened and learned the truth about fluoride and vaccines and chemtrails and the control of education and medicine and everything else - it is all about keeping people in a state of continual fear and where there is no fear at least doubt.

Thinking independently and using your own intellect are what truly frighten the cabal/illuminati/whatever. They can murder as many pacifists and Children and innocents but they will never kill the Human Spirit. I am a Teacher and all I hear from Students and Young Adults is why can't school be more interesting Miss???? I inform them that I am working as hard as I can to make change and to hang on because we are living in the most exciting time that our beautiful but beleaguered planet has ever experienced.

2012 is a time to wake up - stop and breathe - realise money is not God - Children do not need to die in war (no one does) - animals are not to be brutalised and chemically tested for our needs - our water and air need to be purified ...and we can do everything that needs to be done to heal all injustice and pain.

I say embrace the date and welcome it and celebrate - an entire day with no fear anywhere on the planet - just putting it out there - apparently some deep thinkers have stated that's how we manifest our ideas...

This information from Pye on the origins of Humans was written way before this Starchild business. I believe these theories are valid to be taught just as valid as Darwins fossil record is. In fact, true science demands that it is taught because in science you cannot thwart open mindedness and objectivity. Once you do that, your science becomes a religion based on dogma. I don't think Pye's debunking of the fossil record is baseless at all. Pye makes many logical points about this fossil record and how the truth could have been manipulated. All may not agree with these conclusions but they are very far from baseless.

You are entitled to your opinion and I to mine. Have you even bothered to read his book? The one I read dealt mostly with evidence of Sasquatch/Alma/Yeti ect... Being decedents of Neanderthal and not us. Not baseless at all and there was some seriously good evidence in the book. The rest that he tried to tie into Sitchen's work was interesting and it doesn't mean I agree but he was not grasping a straws either.

I would love to see anyone who keeps discrediting people like Sitchen to learn ancient Sumerian and Cuniform and tell us what it really says then, if the believers in this are SO wrong.
