Last night Bill Clinton gave the best speech of the entire 2012 elections and I was expecting to wake up and read all about it on ATS. But I guess those who deny ignorance, also deny keeping up with the news if it good news for Obama. Honestly, It doesnt matter if you support Obama or Mitt Romney, Everyone should listen to this speech if they have the time. He defends all of the Obama positions that have been attacked, and makes their case quite well. Have a listen and DECIDE FOR YOURSELF who you want to run things for the next 4 years.

Bill Clinton's speech was AWESOME!

He used logic and dismantled all the GOP lies handily.

In his words, the Dems have create nearly twice as many PRIVATE SECTOR jobs
as the GOP.

I completely agree. The best speech I heard in a very long time. It was rather funny watching all the different news channels talk about how great it was and how great it was for Obama, then I switch to foxnews, and boyyyyyy were they hatin! There was nothing bad to say about it at all, so they started complaining about it being too long and losing the audiences attention. Well i for one was glued to the speech for the entire hour.

"You're on your own" vs "We're all in this together" really sums it up beautifully! Clinton is a genius!

The Republicans LOVE Bill Clinton. Oops!

I watched the speech just to see what he had to say. I'm not a repub or democrat so it was basically curiosity. I have no quarrel with Clinton. I made the most money I have ever made in my life while he was President. Coincidence? I don't think so. During that time, there was bi-partisan efforts being made...now...none.

It was a good speech that attempted to pull people together but I am afraid it will be attacked and torn apart by the people that DO NOT want us forgiving and healing and coming together again as one people and a unified voice.

The naysayers will ignore the value of compromise and unity and rip a good speech apart for the sake of continuing the division...I expect them in 3...2...1...

Your right, Im just waiting for those people to come on here and start fighting, without even watching the speech. But let them fume just like foxnews is, this speech IMO has given the election to Obama.

No they will stay away because that will bring attention to the fact that Bill
ripped them to shreds.

They are too busy applying 58 flags to "" FACT CHECK"
Michelle Obama's fairee tails"
Thread.

They are over there trying out for the drama club discussing real substance.

They know the rules of high school pretty well which is why they win often, even though
they have the worst governors in the world.

Well lets make sure that those who havnt heard this speech get the chance. I think that everyone should. The RNC have done such an amazing job this year getting their attacks of Obama into the minds of the american people. It is only right for everyone who has been programed by that to hear Obamas defense, so they can decide for themselves what to think and who to vote for.

i was watching his hands(mind you i didnt see the whole thing) and a couple times i saw him i saw him point his thumb like he did when he bannged monica and lied about it, it made me think did he just lie again? otherwise it was a good speach, he is an excellent public speaker, I just wish it was all real. First thing i noticed was it looked like some of the audience members were done up with make up(make-up for tv, men and women). I do realize the women would have make up on. but there is a difference between personnel make up and tv make-up. Im not saying everyone in the crowd were payed actors, but they defintly had a few.

In conclusion its all a dog and pony show meant to make us all believe we actually have a say on what goes on and who gets elected, these political threads are parrt of that illusion

Bill Clinton, you mean that guy who gave us NAFTA, WTO, Robert Rubin, interventionist war in the Balkans, exacerbated the revolving door between DC and Wall Street, and the repeal of Glass-Steagall? That same Bill Clinton is supposed to be a man we listen to for politico-economic advice and wisdom? You have got to be joking. But, then again, everyone at the DNC was just a big joke so he fit right in. Tonight we get to see the biggest joke of them all appear on stage in all his egotistical glory. It is certainly a fitting end to this three day event known as the Democratic National Circus.

Do not forget to check out Liberals in action.

Average attention span of someone for a speech or presentation of any kind is about 30 minutes tops. Mine is about 5 minutes.

My personal favorite was Elizabeth "Cherokee" Warren. Up there speaking as if she has any sort of credibility.

Aiken is an asshole no doubt about it but this chick lied to take advantage of a minority status insulting everything the DNC stand for in affirmative action yet they are throwing money at her campaign like it’s going out of style.

At least the RNC cut Todd Aiken off on principle.

lol you got tha hand pointing thing directly from the foxnews commentators after the speech. good try at being original though. mabey 1 day you will get over the brainwashing that has been distilled upon you. The RNC (not me) has said that the economy is getting better, just not fast enough. well IMO why the hell would you get rid of something that both sides agree is working, to install a new plan that nobody knows if it will work or not. Seems irresponsible to me, just because you hate democrats. ALSO, he got us out of Iraq, we will be leaving Afganistan in less then 2 years, and damn is Obama doing everything he can to prevent a war with Iran. Romney has promised the complete opposite. You know what, if the republicans had a different guy running, one with great ideas to fix things even further, you would have a justified reason to vote republican. But the 2012 RNC and its nominee are bad for America. They spent all last week telling the american people how much of a nice guy he is. how much he loves is family. Well Im a nice guy and i love my family, that doesnt mean i will be a good president. The 2012 republican ticket is bad for America. Let them lose, so the republicans can work out the major problems that reside in their party so that in the future, the republicans can return to its roots. Return to greatness. But if Romney wins, the republicans will never get better.

The republicans are the ones being destroyed by fact checkers. You dont think foxnews fact checked the **** out of bills speech. Sorry but hes speaking facts. Sorry if you refuse to beleive it. And BTW, there is a whole lot i hate about obama, but none of it includes the economy. I hate the fact that he hasnt repealed the patriot act. I hate NDAA. I hate drones spying on us. Obama has no defense when it comes to those important issues, but guess what... Romney supports all that too. Romney wont fix the bad parts of Obamas presidency, and will change the good parts.
Obama is not my first or second choice, but just as planned, we are picking between the lesser of 2 evils. You can write in RP all you want, but that wont change a damn thing. The lesser of 2 evils is Obama. This newly formed RNC is bad news for not just America, but for democracy. They rely too much on overwhelming money in politics and the dumbing down and the social engineering of americans.

Clinton is a great speaker and has a great way of relating to people, That said he lies. Everyone forgets that he lied to the american public as president. That isn't just one lie it is 340 million lies. He said he did not have sexual relations with Monica and he would have gotten away with it if she had not saved her dress with his dna on it. It proved to me and most of america at the time that he can't be trusted ever. I know that he has done some good after his time in office but this is for history you can bet he is playing for the crowd. Remember he let Bin Lauden go when he was sleeping on the couch.

I can only watch a minute or two of any of these liars especially Clinton before I feel like I need to take a shower and do a colon cleanse... I am sure it was a great speech Clinton has always been a good speaker the king of used car salesmen if you will. I am sure it made perfect sense to the socialists sheeple who think stealing from their the neighbors to help others is ok. Even if it did actually make some sense why in the world anyone believes a word of it is beyond me its all talk to appease the sheep and the agenda of rape pillage and plunder by the politician cast continues on at ever increasing speed.

The Dog and pony show must go on! Rah rah Democrats Boo boo Republicans... Rah rah Republicans boo boo Democrats... Sigh!

When are people going to realize both parties have screwed blued and tattooed us? It's the same pig with different color lipstick and a new dress...

Thank you. Finally someone who isn't cheerleading for that degenerate. Don't forget about his handling of the whoe WACO fiasco. Dick Morris (former Clinton advisor) spills the beans atThis Link

Nobody even talks about that Balkan conflict anymore. Clintons prodding of NATO to get involved in Yugoslavia created hundreds of thousands of refugees, and killed a whole bunch of innocent civilians. Although Albright was just as responsible for all her bluster about bombing Milosevic, but because of her loud mouth, it was either follow through, or be seen as a wind bag. Of course they were going to bomb him to save face, which also created tension in US-Russian relations, and solidfied support in the area in favor or Milosevic. Another reason to stay out of other countries business.

Clinton is a schmuck to put it politely.
