I wasn't sure what forum to post this in so i decided to use general chit chat. Feel free to move if necessary.

I got on my computer today to check the news and when i went on RT the website is gone and has been replaced by what i consider a "scam" website. I'm not sure what the type of website is really considered but i know their all over the web and pop up a lot when you search for specific things.

My RT android app is working as well so i was wondering what happened to the website?

rt.com...

I don't see a difference other than they updated their look.

RT is really just the KGB propaganda machine after all.

I was just looking to start this very thread.

LOVE rt.com

Don't really care what others say about it, I go from nbcnews to rt every morning. Keeps things balanced.

@ 0611 MT there was an "Error. Plz contact Svs provider" message.

Now the domain is for sale.

maybe it has somthing to do with my browser?

I see it as a website that reports on the other side of the west. But id have to agree it is definitely full of propaganda.
It also is a little easier to pick out facts though and ignore the junk.

Something is definitely up because my bookmark to the Keiser Report doesn't work either. Romney's lawyers must have got that blocked now.

The KGB doesn't exist per se anymore.

Now it is the Federal Security Service (FSB) and the Foreign Intelligence Service (SVU).

Also the largest intelligence organization in the world is the Main Intelligence Directorate (GRU), which is often overlooked despite it's immense power and capability.

RT is Putin Propaganda, but it also shows some of the Wests more embarrassing bits I'd otherwise miss.. So, I'm cool with it aha.

I can't access it on my home comp which has timewarner but on my phone I can get it through tmobile 4g just fine. I read on another site that the NY times reported it as a blocked site now for the US and that there are more alternative news blockings to come I will try and find the article and link it.

Which of the powers that be has the right to block this site? You guys are scaring me again. I only have 300 rounds of ammo at present......................

Am I going to lose the Daily Show too?

I've been having an intermittent problem accessing RT today too- sometimes it's there sometimes not.

The other Russian news sites are working fine (Pravda, Izvestia, RIA Novosti) . I'm going to keep checking them more frequently now. Hopefully they won't disappear.

Maybe RT is just having some problems today
