If what you claim is true why didn't God eliminate Adam and Eve at the first sin. I myself don't worship any god that refuses to punish rebellion, wickedness or idolatry. How could a holy and righteous God not punish those things?

Oooo, very good question.
Or better yet, he could have avoided the mess by WINDING BACK THE CLOCK AND STARTING OVER.

"Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent. Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent. Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God?" - Epicurus

What's wrong with Obama being Muslim? Because some Muslims say that our country is "Satan"? Just as not all Christians follow the Bible to the letter, not all Muslims follow the Qu'ran to the letter. Or maybe some of them have a better understanding.

With that said, it is quite possible to be Muslim and be an excellent leader for this country. It's his circumstances that have given him a hard time, not his faith.

This relates to another verse as well.

Genesis 6:6
The LORD was sorry that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart.

If god is omnipotent and all-powerful, how could he feel sorry for creating man when he knew what we would do beforehand? If he knew what we would do and knew that he would regret making us then why did he make us? He could have avoided the pain by never making us in the first place.

I guess the god of the bible spent too much time making hell to let it go to waste. Why not just go ahead and make us so it wouldn't be a waste of time?

That's strange isn't it? The bible never mentions god creating hell yet some still believe in it.

That's because Jesus talks about it in some of the scriptures.

Yes, but in my interpretation hell and Earth are one in the same. When god created the heavens and the Earth, he also created a place where hell could arise.

We're not talking about Jesus' hell though, we're talking about Christianity's hell. The two are completely different things.

He actually speaks more about Hell than anyone in the Bible.

Yeah, 3NL, he is.

Sysiphus, if Romney would "man up" and swear to not only show his tax returns, but also (and this just occurred to me this morning while out getting diy supplies), LIQUIDATE HIS OFF-SHORE ACCOUNTS (yes, all of them), and put them directly toward paying down the deficit that the GOP helped to amass....
then, I might consider him "a" man. He is certainly not "the" man; though. No way. He's a specimen of the problem itself. In my opinion. But no way would I consider voting for him unless he did this FIRST. And not "if you elect me", but simply because "it's the right thing to do, and now I see that."

as if I (a republican) care about other peoples money... it is the whiners that have no education and were unable to get ahead in America that do. One of the smartest things any wealthy person can do is to funnel/remove their wealth from American institutions/banks, being the government wants more than their fair share of it... Could it be that is what got us into this mess in the first place? raising tax of the rich... The fact is the majority of Obama voters know little to nothing about how the economy works, yet they scream the word equality until they are blue in the face... I've personally never got a job from a poor person only those who are better off in our society. Taxation should be equal too, afterall the rich man pays the same sales tax as a hobo when they go to market for a six pack of beer...

How much did Romney pay in taxes I could care less... maybe he paid the same amount as someone making 100 grand a year? goo for him, smart man

Obama's policies do not work and we've had 4 years to see where he is taking us... raising tax on the wealthy is only going to funnel more wealth from American shores when these wealthy people are the job creators... Not to mention Obama is the grand master flip-flop artist we've ever had in presidency.

wake up and look beyond your own noses Obama voters, afterall it is not you who are going to see any of that fabled tax money from the wealthy.

Seriously?....

God Is not interested who we elect.

He is interested that we show love and compassion for others and God. An earthly ruler does not change an individuals heart. The people must change. Do not love the world. Live by its rules where it does not contradict Gods word but as a Christian we are told to observe for signs and changes and spread the gospel to all people. We are not told to force a secular world into one path or another. Instead we should pray for Gods will alone to be done.

Regards
