Don't you get tired of defending hypocrites who are only "conservative" when they talk?

YES! Very much so!

You are becoming one of them, because your actions are to get a neocon and an Elite
East Coast liberal into office.

My actions are to prevent a Marxist radical from 4 more years destroying my children’s future. I’ll take “bad” over “worse” all day long!

You can’t call a car insurance company, start a policy, and then have them fix damages that existed prior to your when your coverage began! Insurance is just that…..its insurance! If you think Obamacare is different then call it what it is…socialized medicine!

If people are dumped on the open market like Ryan wants many people simply won't be able to afford the prices that insurance companies want. Insurance is nothing but a scam. People pay insurance for decades and never use it but as soon as they do their rates go up. America is the only major country in the world without some kind of socialized medicine. I say bring it and put the scam artist out of business.

So you are saying that the cost of insurance will not continue to go up exponentially? You are saying these government estimates will be close to accurate? You are saying that people with three or more children living (especially in states like California) on that kind of income are rich?.....

Where is the Marxism? Or the radicalism?

The dangerous guy was the last guy, but I bet you didn't notice it, which why your opinion
and judgement is suspect.

You are just controlled opposition, the amount of fear you hold is proof.

Yes insurance will continue to go up, it has gone up 150% for the last two decades, each decade.
Exactly why we should of cut out the insurance companies and made it non for profit.

If a family has insurance, they will not be penalized or they can go to the exchange for coverage.

I have a very important question.

I am the father of 3 children, I make less then $30,000 a year at the moment, household income. I can not afford health care, it is that simple. At over $300 dollars a month just for insurance, not to mention being unable to make the copay, how the # am I supposed to be able to afford this?

I mean, I would gladdly have insurance if it wasn't so rediculously expensive, how is demanding I have it, or you will take more of my already very meager money, help me and my family in a single way?

I don't want to hear the bull #, you can get vouchers, meaning I can stand in .gov lines for days, while expossing myself to rediculous .gov prying into my personal finacial life, answer. That is not an answer. That is the exact reason I won't use welfare, well besides being a fricking parasite on the country, that really bothers me a lot.

I mean what's next, are they gonna demand I buy a mercedes also? Or else I will be fined for not being able to afford one?

Here are some of the new taxes you're going to have to pay to pay for Obamacare:

A 3.8% surtax on "investment income" when your adjusted gross income is more than $200,000 ($250,000 for joint-filers). What is "investment income?" Dividends, interest, rent, capital gains, annuities, house sales, partnerships, etc. Taxes on dividends will rise from 15% to 18.8%--if Congress extends the Bush tax cuts. If Congress does not extend the Bush tax cuts, taxes on dividends will rise from 15% to a shocking 43.8%. (WSJ)

A 0.9% surtax on Medicare taxes for those making $200,000 or more ($250,000 joint). You already pay Medicare tax of 1.45%, and your employer pays another 1.45% for you (unless you're self-employed, in which case you pay the whole 2.9% yourself). Next year, your Medicare bill will be 2.35%. (WSJ)

Flexible Spending Account contributions will be capped at $2,500. Currently, there is no tax-related limit on how much you can set aside pre-tax to pay for medical expenses. Next year, there will be. If you have been socking away, say, $10,000 in your FSA to pay medical bills, you'll have to cut that to $2,500. (ATR.org)

The itemized-deduction hurdle for medical expenses is going up to $10,000. Right now, any medical expenses over $7,500 per year are deductible. Next year, that hurdle will be $10,000. (ATR.org)

The penalty on non-medical withdrawals from Healthcare Savings Accounts is now 20% instead of 10%. That's twice the penalty that applies to annuities, IRAs, and other tax-free vehicles. (ATR.org)

A tax of 10% on indoor tanning services. This has been in place for two years, since the summer of 2010. (ATR.org)

A 40% tax on "Cadillac Health Care Plans" starting in 2018.Those whose employers pay for all or most of comprehensive healthcare plans (costing $10,200 for an individual or $27,500 for families) will have to pay a 40% tax on the amount their employer pays. The 2018 start date is said to have been a gift to unions, which often have comprehensive plans. (ATR.org)

A"Medicine Cabinet Tax" that eliminates the ability to pay for over-the-counter medicines from a pre-tax Flexible Spending Account. This started in January 2011. (ATR.org)

A "penalty" tax for those who don't buy health insurance. This will phase in from 2014-2016. It will range from $695 per person to about $4,700 per person, depending on your income. (More details here.)

A tax on medical devices costing more than $100. Starting in 2013, medical device manufacturers will have to pay a 2.3% excise tax on medical equipment. This is expected to raise the cost of medical procedures. (Breitbart.com)

So those are some of the new taxes you'll be paying that will help pay for Obamacare.

Personally I'm more concerned with the status of the RFID chip that (last I knew) was still a part of Obamacare and which pretty much allows for GPS tracking of every person in the United States. It also is supposed to have pretty much any record of yours on it, from medical records to bank information. Assuming that it's still a part of the bill, it would require implementation for buying groceries, getting medical coverage, or doing just about anything that requires money. I'm completely opposed to Obamacare solely because of this chip. In fact, I'm so against the RFID chip I would vote just about any candidate into office before I reelected Obama just to stop it from being implemented. Not that I think he's a good candidate without it, but then again the only good candidate in my eyes is Ron Paul, so it hardly matters who I vote for as long as Obama can't implement that dam chip.

Here is even more bad news about the ACA. It is in fact the largest tax increase in history.

The median U.S. family income is about $50,000. Family health coverage can easily run $20,000 a year — and rising quickly. In that scenario, the coverage mandate is essentially a 40 percent tax on that family, which is now required by law to ensure that every family member has qualifying coverage. And because the cost of the coverage will be similar even though incomes vary significantly, the lower the income the higher the effective tax rate — in essence, the most regressive tax in U.S. history, too.

Obama keeps the private market in tact.

If "Obamacare" is socialist, then so is Romneycare"

Do you even care if what you say is the truth?

Obamacare is designed to kill the private market and leave a single payer system!

It’s obvious all you know about Obamacare came from the mouths of proponents. Maybe you'll believe what I say if you hear it from these proponents. This is what they had to say before they found out it was unpopular...

Obamacare Destroyed in 6 Minutes

I can only wish it were that easy. Unfortunately, Obamacare, in some form, is here to stay, because the Insurance companies wrote the bill, not members of Congress. Anyone that thinks that members of Congress (with a few exceptions) have the faintest idea of the details of major issues is dreaming. No matter who is elected(and I believe it really doesn't matter), some form of this Obamanation will survive, to the detriment of American citizens, and the benefit of the insurance companies and congresspersons who fatten their wallets with "contributions"(actually bribes, but we can't call it that). It will be just like Medicare, government controlled, and your doctor has no say. Anyone that is on Medicare now knows that your doctor cannot prescribe medications that he/she believes will help you, because Medicare will decide whether it will be covered, and so will any supplemental insurance you may have. Unless you are wealthy, you must settle for the cheap generics, whether they help you or not, and your health be damned. If you are on Medicare now, you already know that, as I do. Obamacare is no different.
I wish people would stop making this a partisan issue. Neither party has your interest in mind, but only their own self wealth. Yes, a few may be the exception, but they will always be the exception. One need only see what the RNC did to Ron Paul, essentially ignoring him, his delagates and his rights.

Thanks for posting some of the facts about the tax increases that are a direct result of Obamacare.
The tax on tanning is basically a tax on white people. How many black supporters of Obama are ever going to be faced with paying that tax? LOL
Can you imagine the shouts of "racism" if the Republicans even suggested a tax on some hair product like Jerry Curl that was used exclusively by blacks?

I am already paying more and getting less or my health care due to Obamacare. I can hardly wait until it is fully implemented.

A?

The largest in history?

Did you read your article?

How are you gonna blame ACA on an expense that is already occurring, that is very disingenious
of you.

Do you know what the cost increase will be without ACA in the next decade?

Over Two Trillion A YEAR

On top of the current 1.8 TRILLION A YEAR

Because of private insurance companies, Americans will be paying nearly 4 Trillion a year
by 2020, without ACA. Seems like you are focusing on the smaller problem

Too bad conservatives didn't man up and decide to get rid of insurance companies all
together.

Gotta pay for those bonuses! TV advertisements, Lawyers, office buildings,
travel expense accounts and Contracts!

So why didn't you guys on the right decide to cut out the insurance companies all together?

This bill was to appease conservatives who wanted to save the insurance industry.
