Explanation: Artificial clouds made by humans may become so common they change the Earth's climate. The long thin cloud streaks that dominate the above satellite photograph of Georgia are contrails, cirrus clouds created by airplanes. The exhaust of an airplane engine can create a contrail by saturating the surrounding air with extra moisture. The wings of a plane can similarly create contrails by dropping the temperature and causing small ice-crystals to form. Contrails have become more than an oddity - they may be significantly increasing the cloudiness of Earth, reflecting sunlight back into space by day, and heat radiation back to Earth even at night. The effect on climate is a topic of much research. You can help NASA measure the actual abundance of contrails by participating in a contrail counting exercise that runs over the next two days.

Interesting how they refer to us as "humans"

I find it repulsive how NASA is making this into some kind of benign science project for kids...weeeee, we can all count the contralis for 2 days and report after all its only condensation.

"Chem-trails": they can't debunk it if it's not bunk in the first place.

world-wide conspiracy..... riiiiiight. So you're telling me somehow "the man" has managed to get ALL countries under his power, silence the THOUSANDS of pilots required to fly the planes, the THOUSANDS of ground crew maintaining the planes, equipping them, the THOUSANDS of air controllers making sure the plane takes off and lands safely, and the THOUSANDS of staff involved in transporting the MILLIONS of litres of whatever it is all across the globe....

Even though there are MILLIONS of photos of planes exhibiting contrails from the tip of their wings, tails or noses which are identical to these so called chemtrails.

And even though it's well known (and quite logical) that planes fly in set flight paths, leaving contrails along those flight paths. During the time between the first and second plane the wind then blows the contrails across the sky, the next plane flies over, creates another contrail, thus giving the illusion of a "planned" pattern in the sky....

Oh yeah, and every supposed picture of the aircraft that drop this stuff have been debunked... mmm, yep, sounds like a conspiracy to me... a conspiracy to MAKE a conspiracy.

Really?? come on now.. what else would we be refered as? Should they have said "Artificial clouds made by people may become so common they change the Earth's climate." Because that makes a lot of sence and doesn't look like a 12 year old wrote it. oh oh no I got it, it should say Artificial clouds made by Homosapiens may become so common they change the Earth's climate." Maybe if they used a word like ohh say Earthlings that you might be able to use it in your conspiracy theory.

Why do many people that believe in a world wide conspiracy pick apart every thing that they read that is released by any government with out ever working in why they would use some words then others, or why one sentance is before another.

Maybe as mother nature's biggest mistake?

Contrails can really cause lot of high-level clouds.




And actually cloudness is 1/8 even if there's just only one small contrail.
That applies to synoptic weather plots.
