most debunkers are really cynics

they used to believe/hope but since they've never actually seen a ufo, its a case of "bah! humbug! " with them

then there's the fact that sylphs and other elementals fall under the tactical remit of the military
on account of them sometimes shutting down nuke plants and missiles among other things
[often erroneously ascribed to ufo's]
in that context they used to be called gremlins and foo-fighters

so disinfo needs to be taken into account as well

Orbiting requires motion, something not seen in any of this misrepresented "evidence".

They just have to find a scientific explanation for everything.

Everybody from that time and place were constrained by religion and were branded heretics by the church , anybody that didn't want to suffer the same fate towed the line .

If we didn't have threads like this, I wouldn't be here. I have studied science too much to even be enthused by it anymore. I need something to challenge my perception now. I need ideas to stimulate interest in researching things. I often find the answer to questions I couldn't find the answers to in the posts here at ATS. If you put a twist on things, even sometimes sarcasm, it opens up the mind to different paths. Something totally unrelated to a study winds up explaining the discrepancies encountered in that study. It triggers a widening of perception. Everything is related.

If they are acual structures, that's pretty amazing how they can withstand solar radiation like that. But my question is. Is there anybody one here who did the math on the size of those things? The sun is millions of time bigger that Earth so for us to be able to see what ever that it so clearly, it has to be of unfathomable size. At least planet size for sure.

I have heard about this before now. Another interesting take could be the following:

There are some who hold to the theory that "aliens" may be not from other distant "galaxies" or "solar systems" but are inter-dimensional beings of some sort. This may explain why sightings of aliens don't have them taking off like in the movies but most often they simply disappear into thin air. What is the connection with them then hanging out around the Sun?

Inter-dimensional beings rely on energy to maintain their ability to remain manifested in this dimension. They are only able to remain in our dimension of time and space for as long as they are able to draw the necessary energy sources to "hold onto" this dimension. If you examine video of UFO's you will notice that oftentimes they will appear and disappear second by second. Almost like a light fading in and out. This may be explained by the fact that they have crossed dimensions and so are struggling to some extent to remain in this dimension.

Why the Sun? It is a massive energy source that may assist them in staying here in this dimension. For some reason...."aliens" aka "inter-dimensional beings" want to be in our dimension. This theory may be a logical reason why they are hanging around our Sun.

I have also heard the theory that these "beings" are staying near the Sun because they are causing massive Sun flair energy outbursts which may be tied to 2012 etc. There is video (even around ATS I believe) that shows a correlation between these "beings" flying near the Sun and consequent Sun flair outbursts.....

How can any kind of craft withstand the heat and pressure of the sun at that close range? Would this mean that life on Mercury is a possibility?

Arken answer me this. How close to the sun do you imagine an object could get before getting incenerated ? Lets not forget the rules of physics while we search for others in that great big universe out there. I know from your threads that you are eager for this to occur. Thats all well and good. I too hope for contact soon if they are out there. But logic says that nothing can get near the sun and not be destroyed and if we throw logic out the window just because we want something to be true means we are only lying to ourselves.

My post deals with that question as may be the only scientific and logical answer. They are not material/matter but spiritual/energy....so they can be near the Sun and not disintegrate...
