Human Like Face [Curiosity Giga-Pan]

While glancing over the Curiosity Giga-Pan images, I came across what appears to be a human-looking statue head, the features are quite remarkable. You can clearly see features such as the nose, both eyes, and mouth quite clearly, not sure if this is just a "fluke" of weathering, or could this actually be an age-old artifact?

No, not "clearly", far from it, though the 'rock' has interesting features...

eh i looked at the pics u posted for a while... i dont really see a human head... maybe human head shaped (round), but i dont see the human in it... all rocks have different shapes to 'em, like people say... our eyes plays tricks on us.. making us think we see something that we familiar with in an object thats oddly shaped

Yes, I can see the face. Cool rock....but statue head? This rock is about the size of a golf ball, I reckon. I go for walkies in the hills very often, sometimes around old quarries and have found some amazingly lifelike rocks looking like a frog, or a flower, a loveheart...this is a very good rock shaped like a face.

Who knew there were so many rocks on Mars ?

Don't get me wrong I actually believe there was life on Mars and potentially still could be subterraneously ... but these threads are becoming a little too silly now even for an ardent believer

P.P.S. It has been pointed out to me that not everyone knows who Cdr. Data is. He is a robot (or android) who has a commission in Starfleet and is a Lt. Commander on the USS Enterprise. In one "time travel" episode the crew finds Data's head in the catacombs below San Francisco. Umm, you'd have had to be there......
