It is not his private owned jet. They are chartered jets like chartered buses. He probably had it chartered for his campain as in the long run would be less expensive than buying tickets for every stop during his campaign. Not to mention having to go through the TSA...well we see what happened there.

This was reported by the MSM as well, at least by the Washington Post, which if funny because people think if the Post as liberal, but really its more anti-neocon than it is "liberal." anyhow, whoever ordered the TSA move basically guaranteed that one day either Ron or Rand Paul will be president. Maybe not guaranteed, but helped the cause.

How would one person's success affect their actions and beliefs? Do you think just because a person "made it" in life they automatically forget about the struggles they had to get there? Does it automatically mean they are not acting in the best interest on the "common" person? Or could it just be they are successful and would like to help you the average person do the same?? Naaaaa that couldn't be it

Now to really answer your question not that it even deserves to be addressed, but I would assume it is a chartered plane. Anyone with a little common sense knows not all planes are owned by the people who use them. But based on your childish comments I assume you don't have much of that.

Wow take it easy. I did not think his question was childish. He has a right to ask anything he wants.
The same question has been asked about Newt in the past.As well as Clinton.

No doubt it was a real question/statement......you can always tell a sincere statement when it's followed by a LOL.

Think of it this way. If theres someone doing something you don't like and killing them would draw too much attention you'd find a way to give them fair warning stop or I'll kill you right. Thing is you cannot say that out right so instead you make sure that they are stopped and then you tell them to be wary of a possible sniper attack and hope they get the idea without you actually implying it.

That's what has happened here. First they changed the rules last minute at the convention and stopped Dr. Paul in his tracks. No doubt the rule change idea was handed down from someone high up in the Illuminati though those that went through with it have no clue. Then a order comes down through the TSA to search his plane for a bomb as a way of saying hey we stopped you keep it up though and there will be a bomb on your plane one day and it will not be found.

Seriously If I was some rich secret society hell bent on controlling the world and someone who was really trying hard to get in my way came along, well this is exactly the sort of thing I'd do to give them a message and still remain hidden.

I think for "them" to assassinate Ron paul would be like Darth Vadar slaying OB wan (or however it's spelled).I think it would precipitate an avalanche against themselves.

On the other hand those at the top have proved time and again that they will try almost anything. I would be afraid to get in that plane after a strange incident like this. One could be forgiven for suspecting that they were trying to stall him for some reason

NOT!

He doesn't own a jet. He charters from small companies that built those businesses themselves!

And before you retort...I'm sure most of us who donated to the campaign have no problem with this.

On to the TSA. If they wanted to plant a bomb on his plane, rest assured there would be no TSA search!
That wouldn't happen now anyway. Last thing they want is to make the man a martyr!

Let me get this straight. TSA agents tried to protect RP's life by checking for what could have been a danger to his life and the Ron bots start screaming about oppressive, jackbooted thugs. REALLY?

You Ronbots have stepped through the looking glass to be sure.

1. I am anything but a "Ronbot". I don't dislike the man, but I haven't shed any tears that he didn't get the nomination, either.
2. Did you read the article? The TSA also attempted to "screen" the Pauls before boarding their private plane. That's an illegal search.
3. The TSA and Homeland Security as a whole need to be neutered. They represent everything that's wrong with America right now, a country bent on persecuting their own citizens over a major crime committed by foreigners.

Huh?
It's their own jet, how are they allowed to go through that?
And why would he have explosives? to kill his own family?
There was something bigger planned...

They aren't allowed to...

But the people who are in position of power to make a difference stand by and let it happen.

Poor airport leadership......hence why they have been losing money for years.

I hope Paul did a bomb check of his own after the TSA went through his plane. That seems like the likely way his plane could have picked one up.

My thoughts exactly. Be safe, RP!

The GOP stopped RP from being nominated and yet they still feel threatened enough by him and his movement to sic the TSA on him.I hope Dr. Paul and Rand work to cut their budget down to nothing.

The following is my opinion as a member participating in this discussion.

VOTERS stopped RP from being nominated. How much empirical evidence is needed before everyone wakes up and realizes that Mitt Romney received more votes than Ron Paul did, by orders of magnitude, in fact? There's stubbornness and then there's plain old refusal to see the truth. Democracy equals he who receives the most votes wins the election. It is time to move onto stage 5 of the grieving process; The Upward Turn. Only then can one reach The points of working through the grief and, ultimately, acceptance and renewal of optimism.

I think this is a way off telling the less intelligent Americans out there that Paul is a terrorist and should be treated as such. If you call someone by a different name enough eventually it sticks.

The VOTERS would have stopped Ron Paul from winning the nomination, almost assuredly. It was last minute rule changes and delegate shenanigans that prevented Paul from being placed into nomination from the floor. Ostensibly these were done in order to demonstrate party solidarity for Romney. The new rule changes officially change the party to a top-down structure and alienate grassroot support. Had these been in place in the 70's, for example, it would have prevented your favorite Ron Reagan's rise to prominence and his presidency would most likely never occurred - a point I could find favor with.

Many feel the GOP shot itself in the foot with these pranks. The long-term effects remain to be seen, however. More than inane platitudes are needed to address what occurred and what the future may hold because of it all.

It's interesting that even your quote from the article had no periods. Do you manually take all periods out of your online sentences?

Perhaps the shadow government made a phony tip-off call to TSA stating somebody put bombs on his plane. A game is being played here, I think...
