Anime & Manga forum on ATS...?

So, just a random thought of mine.

Why is it there's a science fiction & fantasy forum, and a comics forum (marvel and DC stuff), and a forum for almost every other topic, but none for Japanese Anime or Manga? I think that one would prosper, seriously. There are a lot of things related to my manga and my characters that I'd like to post about in the Off-Topic section, but it's hard to find the right forum sometimes.

Is anyone else into anime and manga? Am I the only one?

I think it's one of the Western culture's favorite things to do, is fangirl over Eastern culture's cartoons, just as it is to conspiracy theorize. That includes me.

Has anyone else thought there should be an Anime & Manga forum, or is it just me?

I am not really an avid anime guy, but I do on occasion like to watch that stuff as long as it either has english subs or english dub.

I love anime and manga, but wouldn't a separate forum for it just be duplicating efforts. Most anime is scifi or fantasy and manga is by the very definition according to Merriam Webster ": a Japanese comic book or graphic novel "

There is an abundance of places to discuss Japanese animation on the web already.
Why would you want to discuss it on a conspiracy forum unless there's a coinciding conspiracy?

Stupid comment, Ive read mangas and watched anime for the last ten years and it has nothing to do with child porn.

Why not just post about anime in the Television or Movies fora and manga in the Comics forum? There's not really a need to create a new forum when there's already ones that these topics fit into adequately.

How about a forum dedicated just to Transmetropolitan!!??

Can't wait for the Brony forum, and all those fruits. Apples and bananas.
