I haven't found a thread about it yet, and as far as i can tell it just got reported on the dutch media.

Apperently there is a possible hostage situtation going on right now on the flight VY 8366 from Malaga, Spain towards Amsterdam, Netherlands.

According to the dutch media 2 F-16's from the dutch royal airforce are already enroute to check out the aircraft and escort it. More information will follow according to the media.

Radio contact with the pilot seems not possible

From the information I've gathered so far, the whole hostage situation is solely based on the fact they cannot contact the pilot, although the plane made some very strange moves before entering Dutch airspace, see: www.flightradar24.com...

The anti terrorism unit from the Dutch military police is about to board the plane. (BSB, Maressauchee)

It's still speculation about the hijack offcourse, but the government has declared GRIP3, meaning a possible situation with a large group of people inside 1 county.

Apparently, there has been communication during the approach. But as far as i can follow, it's not according procedure, making it suspicious.

Situation seems to be a dud. Radio communication was broken and pilot handled it in an unusual way.

Nothing to see, move along ;-)

There is now an interview going on between a passanger from the plane and the media. Apparently she's reporting that there is nothing wrong and as far as she knows there is no hostage situation going on.

Seems like a false alarm, luckily!

Funny; just a couple hours ago workers discovered a 2nd world war bomb unearthed in Amsterdam's Schiphol airport, and the place was evacuated. Somebody important on the plane that does not want to be seen ?

To update its suggested that the pilot may have not been able to communicate in English properly which may have caused the issue

Fishy; couple of things happening on the same day, just a couple of hours apart...

Apparently the Plane is now in a far corner of the airport surrounded by security and ambulances, passengers still on board.

Someines phoned a passenger and they are not aware of any Hi-Jacking.

With the Bomb Alert earlier clearing out arrivals etc, I agree this is a bit Fishy
