Yes indeed....an EMP can come from solar flares/CMEs...but also nuclear weapons detonated at very high altitude.... designed to knock-out communications and electic grids. retalitory missile guidance systems/radar systems etc


i think that the tag-line of such an event would reduce down to '3 days of darkness' instead of a high altitude EMP Weapon used... our collective conscience tends to simplify these sort of academic events into man-on-the-street language.


so... in the final analysis, the 3-days-darkness might not be a celestial event or a giant UFO causing a 72 hour eclipse...or Nibiru sucking all the photons from the Sun...

the 3 day darkness may be just a colloquial expression of a natural or mad man-made EMP in a location that is important to the end-times eschatology

I’ve heard about the “3 Days of Darkness” since the 90’s when I first got onto the Internet. Were it not for the Internet I may have never heard of it. Most writers attribute this prophecy to a Marion apparition at some point in time – Fatima or someplace like that.

Interestingly today’s Urban Survival had a section that dealt with this event that offered an explanation non-religious people might be able to wrap their heads around.

So I have been pondering the BIG QUESTION: "What would the coming period look like if everyone was right in terms of a 2012-2013 show-ender?"

Well, here's a sketch:

8.9 quake (or something over 7.0) shows up around September 17-23.
December 10 we would get Patrick's large/huge sunspot.

Around December 18-19 the massive earthquakes would begin, just a few days after the biggest ever recorded Carrington Event/EMP from a super X-class solar flare fries all computers and networks and takes down the global power grid.

On December 20-21 we get the grand alignment...stars line up into positions over the pyramids where they haven't previously been for thousands of years.

The day after, I would expect not much if anything to be apparent and maybe not for several WEEKS but the big change would be happening inside the earth where the magnetic molten core would begin turning on its side.

As a result of this, earthquakes would begin building in intensity. Cities would start being flattened by 7.0 to 10.0 quakes. By the end of January the effects of the core change would be undeniable and science would be stalling for time.

Markets would be collapsing globally...which we expect anyway.

Somewhere in here, the wars in the Middle East would kick up so that by April/May the Syrian conflict would be going nuclear. That would fill in the Damascus as a piece of Chihuly artwork predictions.

And so the planet increases its shakes and wobbles until in say mid May of 2013, a slow partial pole shift begins, and since the core of the Earth is turning the other way, since December, people will have noticed days becoming longer until?

Toss a dart: Call it May (Mayday!) when the planet actually stops turning for three days and begins to turn the other way. In the process three events unfold something like this:

1) the oceans, especially around the equator when angular momentum is fastest (covering 25,000 miles in a day) would start to stack up on the eastern shows of the Pacific and Atlantic oceans. Ma Nature /Universe/God doesn't have to do everything in a single human day, right? So the tide comes in and just keeps coming and keeps coming.... and that would fill Clif's global coastal event lingo to a tee. There goes Holland and take off the food production in the San Joaquin Valley lowlands.

Also in here, space aliens would show up to watch (a kind of intergalactic sideshow) and some of them would sport beards would might be called by various prophet names by the religion followers.

2) One of the longest/most impacting images out of prediction gets filled here, too, since there would be a three day stoppage of rotation, which would boil half the earth and give over three days of darkness over the other half. Check religion and prophecy books for clues and descriptions.

This three days of darkness, regardless of whether you're a practicing Christian, is notable because it seems to have been captured in the past change period like the one we're fast approaching. The 3 nights references show up in lots of places, which in itself is interesting to study, especially if you look at religious texts as part community org chart and part verbal history being passed down, although perhaps somewhat convoluted. Jonah and the whale makes sense as a metaphor for this stuff, perhaps.

3) Following the three days/nights the rotation starts, ever so slowly in the other direction, which in turn causes the oceans to stack up on the western shores of the Pacific and Atlantic, which scrubs the US East Coast with it's global coastal event language descriptor sets filled, along with China, Japan, and Russia, in turn as the oceans flip up the other way.

Of course, no one is having much fun in any of this since the grid went out earlier, huge areas of the coast have been inundated, there's also not much if any sunlight since, as Geryl describes it, about every volcano ever would be in play since the core rotation change would cause so much pressure relief valve action.

Refineries gone, food unable to be grown, no power...no sir, not a lot of fun out there in the after change period. No TV. No cell. No food. No medical facilities. No meds. No jails. No laws. No....well, just no nothing.

In fact, by Geryl's work (and piecing everything together from ancient texts), we would have about 30-years of basically no Sun and since all the power failed, there would be numerous power reactors worldwide melting down, and these in turn would be leaking.

The upshot of it is that when the event is over there would be only a very small number of humans and a chance to start over and recolonize Earth. The shortage of Sun, BTW sets off a global ice age, which will clear off most of the evidence and confuse Next Worlders who won't be able to find the blow-out reactors leaking, but they will find a whole bunch of mutations which they will attribute (wrongly) like we do, to it just being cold out.

Say: Did Adam and Eve be return from a space station in previous times? Land in a temperate area in some previous calamity? Ah, the novels flow, don't they?

But how serious is the threat of all this? You tell me.

Geryl is looking for a September 20'ish major quake with perhaps another one of those ultra-long filaments on the Sun...remember our Angry Sun discussion?

Clif's got a project started to try and save human knowledge in written form....so that following Next Worlders would have a chance to restart learning at least something from our mistakes this time around.

And Ures truly is just sitting back collecting the data, looking for conformance and differentiation but that's a good sketch of how things could look and, oh, since there may be enclaves of survivors in different parts of the world, is that where different racial haplotypes come from in these cyclical calamities? ice melt, they go walk-about, sail-about, and war-about?

The odds of this: Not overwhelms, but an interesting mental exercise. Right now I personally put it (or some variation on a theme along these lines) at around a 2% chance.

BUT here's the thing to keep an eye one: Earthquakes, filaments/angry sun, and so on.

Look, I wasn't going to write all this down for you, but the future is something like a big puzzle and there are so many pieces that are beginning to click into place that its hard not to line them up this way and not at least stare once in a while at the picture being outlined and do some serious wondering about it.

Could there be more pieces? Oh sure. I keep thinking I've got to ask Clif about that "safe above 40º reference in the model space. Does that mean that when the bulge at the equator collapses (due to rotational change, right?) that the resulting flattening will mean no one close (on either side) than 40-degrees away would survive? Or, might there be a decimal/metric issues which might mean something like 4,000 feet and above would be safe?

Hard questions, all of these. Yes, there is still time to prepare, but like I said in my personal assessment we've only gone from "crazy people yammering" to "Maybe it's a 1-2% chance, but a lot of this could be coincidental..."

I think it's worth keeping our collective eyes on the puzzle pieces because they are moving and as/if more of them start clicking into place, other people are going to see it too.

And then the rush will be on and you want to be where you're going (Africa, like Patrick?) long before things get crazy and everyone starts to get it.

For now, I am in data collection and analysis mode. Like looking around and seeing shadows being tossed out onto the projector screen of Life by the Universal Subconscious Mind...(in Allegory of the Cave fashion?) or genuinely foreshadowing something really big and really unstoppable headed our way soon?

That's always the rub, isn't it? When comes the moment of personal action? Ask me after the big quake in late September. I'm busy watching puzzle pieces move.
