No you don't, because he was eighty some years old and he died.

This whole thread is ridiculous.

You should be ashamed of yourself.

Not ashamed at all. Proud in fact.

The whole thread is a thread, ridiculous to some maybe,
but not to all, surely. The links I provided are very interesting in themselves.

Do you have any solid evidence to prove he really died?

If they were going to fake his death, you would expect reports of his ill health.

You should use spell-checker. There are only 7 R's in

AAAAAAAAARRRRRRRGHHHHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAAAAAAAAAAA. haaaaaaaaaaaa.ha

And I agree. Everything is pretty much a conspiracy.

More's the pity.

The first link, the basis for this entire thread, is intended as a joke. It is meant to satirize people who think the moon landings were a hoax. Get it? The other links are to ridiculous fringe sites.

Do you have any solid evidence to prove he really died?

People die. That's a fact. He was over 80 years old. That's a fact. No extraordinary proof should be required. On the other hand, claiming an 81 year old man who was not in trouble with the law suddenly decided to fake his own death is an extraordinary claim and requires extraordinary proof.

If they were going to fake his death, you would expect reports of his ill health.

Or maybe "they" murdered him to silence him. Why aren't you taking that tack? It would fit in better with your self constructed reality.

Sheesh is anything real?

Fake death conspiracies are stupid.

Let's take your claim that JFK's death was fake for example.

What would change if he was dead or not? As far as the "average Joe" (Not you, you're clued in my friend!) are concerned he ceased to exist, as did any influence he could have had if he were still alive.

That doesn't change if it was faked, does it?

He can't be seen or heard because that would ruin the "illusion" of him being dead.

Have you gone thru the link I provided? I have.
JFK was an elite, and played his part in a bigger picture.

What do we average joes know, eh?

Ask yourself how you 'know' what you 'know'.

I spend all my life in a fake reality. I reached escape velocity, and there is no going back now.

You do not exist - you are not a living human being - you are a computer generated program.

Prove to me otherwise

...........before your escape velocity becomes terminal.

Oh and by the way anything you post as proof in your response is also a computer generated program - how many fingers am I holding up?

So this version is pretty identical to your contribution (except for a bit of cropping), right?

So how do you explain the differences seen in the amount of light falling on
the astronots life support back packs?

Ooops!

I accept the testimony of his family and friends as proof.

If you want to argue that he is still alive, I suggest you have the burden to prove it, as your claim is more unlikely.

Wait. The same family and friends who were most probably privy to the
truth of his role in the Apollo scam.

OK. Whatever floats your boat.

(right now you are thinking WTF!! - so I thought I would give you a taste of what went through my mind when I read your response to me)

If you care to look at my profile and my posts you would be embarrassed that you posted that response to me.............we did go to the moon pal - we simply could NOT show what we saw - that is why a fake landing was filmed............so I dedicate this to you.................

What the heck are you talking about? Yes, obviously it is the same photograph. One of the versions looks darker than the other because the copy was "timed" differently when the prints were made.

I followed the link.

The digital glitch that caused some onscreen tiling on a scientist's face has truly shown me that it was all a fake. My eyes have been opened!

Seriously, do you have to work hard at making yourself believe this crap, or does gullibility come naturally?

Are you the one on the left or the one on the right?

How sublime and clever you really and truly are. But I wasn't going WTF, because i
knew for a fact that you were pure bald and haven't had a haircut in years, and also
that you have longsince traded your seiko for a mickey mouse alternative.
So, busted on that one, I'm afraid.

I do look forward though to going through (red-faced and all) your profile and posts later.

It feels so good to be in communication with someone as intelligent and
enlightened as your-good-self.

Oooh, I feel all funny inside!

I cannot wait for you to deconstruct me and my profile - let me help you along - go to the Avatar Creations thread as that is where I mostly reside and within those 88 pages there is a photo of me.

Born: Takapuna, NZ on 25/10/1971
Married
2 kids
Lives: Perth, WA
Head - full of hair

And that statement above of yours has just lost you all credibility my friend - you could not be further from the truth.

As a Captain in the Merchant Navy I have seen your type come and go plenty of times.

Now......back to the topic...............we did go to the moon - prove to me we did not - and don't cut and paste now or you will be sorely embarrassed again.

Explanation: S&F!

I am unaware whether this was posted originally to the joke forum or not?

If it wasn't, and it has been moved, then I feel that is unfortunate as this subject could be seriously dicussed!

If it was, then all the upset members who have posted to this thread seriously need to realize which forum it was posted in and stop being party poopers in the funny forum ok.
:shk:

Personal Disclosure: I will pick this issue up after Neils funeral has transpired, out of respect for the man!

Because if he is dead, then that is a great loss to humanity, and that deserves a greater understanding and allowance for people to truly mourne that event and for me to not pour salt onto that wound too soon.

And if he isn't dead, then waiting a week more won't make any difference to uncovering the truth, which will always EVENTUALLY come to light.

CONSPIRACY theorists have poured scorn on the announcement of Neil Armstrong’s death,
citing a lack of hard evidence.

Yeah right
Internet conspiracists are suspicious that no photographs of Armstrong’s body have been
published, and believe the death is a publicity stunt to revive interest in the ‘so-called
moon landings’.

Nathan Muir, of the moon landing denial group Apollo Zero, said: “Tom Hanks hasn’t
made a movie in a while, interest in the whole astronaut fantasy is sagging – so all of
a sudden, Neil Armstrong ‘dies’. How very convenient.

“I’ve sent an email to NASA asking for a peek in the coffin and they haven’t even replied.
It’s Area 51 all over again.”

Conspiracy enthusiast Tom Booker said: “So now it’s boo hoo, what a shame it is we don’t
go to the moon any more.

“And before you know it they’ll have built another papier mache rocket in Houston and
hired a couple of thousand extras successfully sworn to secrecy to pose as scientists,
mechanics, crew, spectators and astronauts.”

“They already did it once, and then five more times.

“Furthermore, there have been a spate of sightings of the ex-astronaut since the weekend,
with dozens of reports from the Florida area of a man in his 80s matching Armstrong’s
‘bald, old-looking’ appearance, wandering around in perfect health.

“It’s so obvious why they’re doing it, too – to distract us from the fact that Cheerios
breakfast cereal is actually tiny homing devices that sit in your stomach sending
messages to the government.

“I bet Armstrong’s sitting in some East Coast golfing resort with John F Kennedy right
now, laughing it up. What, the assassination?

“Come on, that was Tony Curtis and Marilyn Monroe in a black wig in the back of that
car, Jack Lemmon as Oswald, with Billy Wilder directing from the grassy knoll.”

I know the article is tongue in cheek (especially towards the end) but manys a
true word is said in jest.
Armstrong dies as the Mars Curiousity scam is in full swing, and his 'death' will surely, in the minds of most, reinforce the notion of
the reality of the NASA space program in general, which, in fact, has been nothing but
a hugh con from the very beginning, IMO.
www.aulis.com...

Funnily enough, another Armstrong in the news at this time has been outed as a
liar and a cheater.
Twisted Co-incidence, or something more?
The 'deaths' of two American Armstrong heros around the same time is a lot to take in.

I revert at this time to a well used ATS adage (most especially when it's anything
to do with NASA) .........Pictures, or it didn't happen.

BTW: This to me seems a more accurate representation (from opening link) of how
big the Earth would look from the moon, than any of the 'real' representations
coming out of NASAs Apollo program.

versus

BTW2 (in reference to the last few lines of the opening link): Go through all 50 pages
of this link and try telling me that JFK's death wasn't indeed faked. I dare you!

The "JFK-MURDER" was a STAGED EVENT / JFK wasn't "KILLED" on 11/22/63!

edit on 28-8-2012 by OutonaLimb because: Fixed Links

I always wondered about any of the photos of the earth from the lunar surface. The earth is a bit more than 3.5 times the diameter of the moon yet it appears small on the horizon, in many photos. Logic would be that the earth would appear much larger than the moon in our sky view, give the distance remains constant yet the object is much larger. I've been looking for video from the lunar surface, of the Earth rising and setting. Haven't found any. I've only found video from the orbiter. Seems odd that They wouldn't video this type of daily occurrence. Anyone have a link to a video?

Can someone explain what the purpose would be behind falsely claiming that we landed on the moon? Similarly, what would be the purpose to falsely claim landing on Mars? I'm looking for proof or an argument either way.
edit on 28-8-2012 by Bilk22 because: (no reason given)

Actually the earth doesn't rise or set from the lunar surface, does it? It's always in view as the moon doesn't rotate on it's axis. Hmmm?

No. Check again. A portion of the backpack is in direct sunlight in one, whereas
it is in shade in the other.
