If our government considered this even a remote possibility, we'd all be in shackles already. The size and weight of balls required for a full-on armed revolution simply does not exist in this country, and the gov knows this. Oathkeepers and The Constitution be damned, they KNOW we're nothing but fish in a barrel, which is why they will continue to run roughshod over the "rights" that we think we have. Unfortunate, but as yet unproven to be untrue.

ETA people keep talking about "the straw that breaks the camel's back". In this case, I'm afraid there's no such thing. No camel. No back. Won't ever happen. Stop saying this. Citizens will do what they're told, with few if any exceptions. Just you watch.

Do you think Obama (Dictator)
what do you think he made the Laws he did for the fun of it?

he can legally do this and you dont have a legal leg to stand on.
it will need the people on mass to stand up to the Dictator Obama.

soon it will be to late.

I was ready to believe something weird was going on.
Then I saw that this is a Glenn Beck piece.

That's enough in itself to discredit anything.

The funny thing is that most people don't even really know what PTSD is, and yet as soon as a veteran gets pushed over the edge, that's the first thing that they claim. "Oh must have had PTSD. No wonder he went off..." PTSD is such a blanket-disorder that it means entirely different things depending on your type of personality before sufficient trauma was rendered in order to cause a CSI (combat stress injury). PTSD can manifest itself in a variety of ways (flashbacks and such actually being very rare FYI), and yet people parrot what they heard in the news without any real understanding of it. Wanna understand PTSD? Talk to a vet, as that's the only way you will ever come close to understanding it.

This was a classic strategy applied by the soviets, and the tsars before them in Russia.
Force those who are not with you to be percieved as insane.

Didn't work then,won't work now.
But many will be locked up for their thoughts.

There are also moves being made to classify suspicion of authority as a mental illness...no joke-can't wait for the pill they invent for that one.

Sad state of affairs IMO

Out of all the stories in the news, and all the stories I've been following on ATS this month, this story should really scare the he** out of people.

It is wrong, and blatantly prophetic on so many levels. So many (but not enough) have objected to the NDAA--and here it is, playing out in front of all of our eyes.

It should be the biggest story of the year.

Sadly, most people I know have never heard of Raub.....

Um...the story about Raub has been playing out in many places in the media, including the Drudge Report, who, while perhaps a conservative, has to have several sources before he puts up any headline.

The Raub story is a big story, and rather than being concerned about who is talking about it----you should be incredibly concerned about what the story symbolizes.

They can't even get the title of the story right. PR company ran by Whitehead. The attorney for Raub was Troutman and Sanders. The Rutherford Institute did not defend Raub as a attorney just look at the bottom of this court file. And the man in the court room was Brian D Fowler. Whitehead is no different than Jessie Jackson, Al Sharpton or any of the other civil rights PR guys. Call him what he is not a attorney.

The Attorney for Brandon Raub was on Glen Beck not too long ago.

Enough said right there. Glen Beck, no matter how much you may wish he is, is not a legitimate news source. The only people who take anything he has to say seriously are morons incapable of rational thought and cannot figure out why the square block doesn't fit in the circular hole. If Brandon Raub has any brains he will find a better lawyer.

How about you do it and I'll cheer from the sidelines; I'm comfortably retired and have no desire to end up dead, in jail, or in a mental institution.

There is one aspect to all of this that I have not seen discussed yet; How is all of this going to impact veterans who are seeking treatment from the VA for PTSD and other conditions. Being someone who has been diagnosed with PTSD I am now concerned with going to see my doctor or even being honest with them. I can no longer trust them. How many Veterans will be afraid to get help now. But again, could be a goal to bring about more incidents. It's almost as if the system is being rigged to bring about a certain outcome. They certainly don't want the veterans armed so mental health excuses appear to be the newest and easiest way of robbing us of our 2nd amendment rights.

Don't join any militia groups, and avoid making cryptic posts on facebook that are completely open to interpretation. Oh and for the love of God don't go around posting how you are going to lead said ambiguous revolution. It really isn't all that hard to figure out.

Remember when Mr. Napolitano put returning vets on the terrorst watch list in 2009?

"Homeland security chief apologizes to veterans groups"

"Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano apologized Thursday after some veterans groups were offended by a department report about right-wing extremism.

The report said extremist groups may try to attract veterans returning from the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. It also said extremists also may use the recession and the election of the nation's first African-American president to recruit members.

The American Legion was among those who objected to the report's mention of veterans."

Okay. Does anyone remember that guy who got arrested on video? That marine?

He said something like "the revolution is beginning."
Ron Paul is saying that now.
The marine also said something like "people will be coming for me to start the revolution."
Maybe it's a sign? Like maybe these vets are disappearing for a revolution...

how can anyone join the army knowing that when they return they will be classed as a terrorist, spied on and possibly disappeared.

They probably wouldn't have as much of a problem with violence perpetrated by veterans if they actually provided adequate mental health care for them.
On average, one veteran commits suicide every 80 minutes. There was a recent story about a VA office having claims piled so high, that the weight of them was literally threatening the integrity of the building. Think about how absurd that is. They simply don't allocate nearly enough time, resources, personnel, etc., to providing adequate mental health care to veterans. And then they turn around and demonize veterans who perpetrate violent acts as a direct result of these mental health issues.

Did you know if you are thrown into a Mental Ward- you are Forever Listed with the Department of Health and Human Services along with persons whom have AIDS and have been put in Drug Treatment Programs. When an Involuntary Committment has been created- You should have the right before a Judge and whomever is making up allegations to defend yourself. Then if deemed needed- off to a hosptial for evaluation. This process does not work like this. In some States an Involuntary Committment can be served the same as a Warrant- kick doors in etc....these laws Must be changed!! A persons entire life may be destroyed from such action!

The Health Care Business is making Millions of Dollars from Medicaid and Medicare Fraud from locking people up in Mental Wards...plus getting side income from large Pharm Companies..

If you are locked up in a Priviate Hospital and have insurance you may be able to get released in 2 weeks. If you get locked up in a State Hospital..it may take up to a Month to be released. Only a Judge or a Doctor can release you. They force Meds on patients!! If the Patient says no-way..they hold them down and give them some-kind of combo shot that knocks you out for days..and who knows what they are doing to you when you are out!!

I work in Healthcare and I will never Trust It!!

Horrible Things have been done to me and my youngest son here in NC!! My Homeland Security US Customs and Border Patrol Job was destroyed by local idiots down here!! I have been beaten up by local cops and my past residence illegally broken into. I have been drugged and given forced Meds in hospitals where I was tortured!! I will never forgive this horrible State!! I have never seen one day of Justice!! I am working towards getting me and my children out of NC hell..and to Montana where we belong!! Its just a matter of not having the money to do everything I need to do!! The Local Cops are so Corrupt down here..who do you call when you cannot even trust the police...I made the mistake of talking about being taken by Aliens on my way to my duty station in Montana..I called them Somethings that I could not explain..Life goes on and I work as many hours that I can with Hope and Faith that me and my children will have a normal life and home together! I have basically just learned to never talk about Aliens or UFO'S period..Its better to just not trust anyone and just keep some things in life to yourself. All of the Mental Health Crap is just another Money Making Business..when they cant fill the hospitals with other patients..I can say Thank You to an Ex-Military Doctor whom saved me from a Foreign Idiot!! I am back at work and doing fine..my oldest son is in TN working towards a music career and me and my youngest are looking forward at some point of leaving NC and either going to LA- California or Montana..
