That's a good thing I believe since it would seem to be a massive relief of stress in a wide range.
What would concern me is the Cascadia fault taking the brunt of that release,
building up strain for a massive event.

I grew up in California on a fault line and while we did have many earthquakes during earthquake season, I have to say even THIS is way out of the norm. Even for California.

Very concerning.

The quakes have been going on longer than just the last two hours that I've been watching the live earthquake site. It looks like they started around 12pm Pacific time according to another ATS User Post.
