California going off!

I've been tracking earthquakes on RSOE EDIS for 2 years now and never seen something comparable. To be honest it kind of shocked me when I saw 30 EQ's in Brawley, Cali. in just 1 hour. Thought it was an error.

Anyone on ATS who lives there and can tell us what may be going on? Somebody must've already noticed that somethings not right. This might be the big one.

I was just reading about the possible volcanic relation, although who knows, the geologists seems to disagree it seems. Geeeez!

I'm thinking it could be either or possibly both at play. This place is active today, that's for sure.

Earthquake report are reporting they don't foresee a bigger one coming but hey.... Who knows!?

Another 5.4 at 8.9 km this is getting wierd now.

Anyone know if clusters like this have happened since data has been collected?

I'm not sure it seems our quake gurus are probably asleep. They live in other countries. Ugh!

I'm eager to know myself. Will start to research it.

I saw this when it first started a few hours ago. I've never seen it like this but I've only been watching daily for the last two yrs.

USGS cannot even keep up they are coming in so fast and frequent!

Heard from a friend that one had a very long duration.

and everything seems to be centered around Cali - something might be up

Earthquakes and tremors = natural occurrence

If you want to grab at straws and hoping to make a bigger deal out of something the Earth has been putting out since the beginning, you are mildly schizotypal.

Is it a natural occurrence for them to all be in the same place though thats what everyone is trying to find out, if there is data that shows this has happened before then its nothing to worry about like u imply, but if it's not then it could be anything.....

So true.. we use to go collect those shells. But I was really afraid of that water coming back when I was small.. You wanted to know how UNDER WATER you would be . Just look at the flag poles. they always put them as high as Sea Level.. I lived out near the "Beach"

I think that if i lived there i would grab my b.o.b. and get a head start outta town!
Nothing may come of this swarm but we are in uncharted waters so to speak.
Better safe than sorry. You can always turn around.
That's just my opinion cause i'm not there so who knows what i would really do.

The earthquakes are happening recently. I wonder what the people in Brawley, CA are doing? I think that this continuous stream of earthquakes is very odd.

56 earthquakes in the past month
102 earthquakes in the past year

That means ~50% of all earthquakes that happened in one year happened today (!!!)

Well I guess you get the picture. This is not a usual event, as long as the quakes keep going I'd advise everyone in that area to stay on their toes.

There are 2 more earthquakes! 3.5 and a 3.6!

This is always more fun than an action blockbuster to do this on ATS with the live EQ feeds going. Maybe even better than UFC.

Gotta say though, it has not looked like this in the couple of years I have been looking at it. I know we get lots of quakes but jeez Louise, already.

I have yet to personally feel one though, I will post when and if I do.

Sherrie in Brawley NOW: That's not even funny right now Bruce. They are coming one right after the other and are strong enough that my cabinet doors flew open and out came the dishes as well as the medicine cabinet stuff. one is hitting now as I am writing. My chi...na cabinet with my grandmothers china flew open and some of those things were broke as well as the glass in several pictures hanging on the wall. BUT ! The worst part is I am suppose to be a bad ass and I am scared to death of roaches and quakes. It's been so long I forgot how bad they are.My poor dogs are all over me wanting me to protect them and it's like , There's only room for one under this bed go find your own spot. (not really I let them in)

Another 4 since the last update in the same area 2.8, 2.9, 4.3 and a 3.9 they just keep coming.....2.7, 2.5, 2.8, 2.9 wow.

Just turned on my comp and find all these quakes

This is just north of a swarm a couple months ago near Mexicali.
These are shallow quakes, so what does that mean? Just the plates
venting a little pressure? (Hopefully) Too shallow to be volcanic, correct?
