The map you link showing Isaac's path does not show the storm in Louisiana. It actually shows the storm making landfall in the Florida Panhandle close to the Alabama boarder. That is over 200 miles away from the sinkhole in Louisiana. You literally skipped over 2 states- Alabama and Mississippi.
